I really love what this gym offers compared to others, that being said i would like the staff to be more proactive with enforcing safety and gym etiquette. Multiple times when I’ve been there at night there is a group of kids filming TikTok’s. I wouldn’t be so bothered if it wasn’t disruptive, but it is. This past Wednesday night (although there have been multiple instances) while it was already busy and hard to find open spots these kids came in and dumped a bottle of water over one bench and the floor and immediately proceeded to move one of the wipe stations and take up another bench dive rolling over it and almost hitting into at least one person that I saw when rolling on the floor. I’d like to know why when I work out there always seems to be a staff member around to tell some of the men to put shirts on when they take them off to flex (yes cringey but not really harmful) but there never seems to be someone there to tell this group to stop running around the gym like kids at the playground? And sure I could have reported it but during my workout I don’t want to risk losing my spot and when I’m leaving that’s all I want to do is leave, on top of having social anxiety that makes me not want to have confrontation like that. I would just hope staff would be more active on the floor to ensure the safety and enjoyment of the members.

Staff is always friendly very helpful and well informed. Great machines and free weights having everything you need. It’s open 24/7 to a come date your gym schedule. Health and Covid friendly having anti bacterial wipes and special lights that apparently help. The hot tub, sauna, steam room, lap pool, therapy pool, and cold plunge all are on the downstairs. As well as locker rooms showers bathrooms, and a basketball court. It all comes with the basic membership.

Wow...just wow. It's about 7 gyms in one gym. You will not need to go anywhere else. This gym is well designed and well managed. With every aspect of the gym, you can see how they put the customers first. From the amenities, to the kind and knowledgeable staff, to the state of the art facilities, great classes, and top-notch personal training. This gym is well worth every penny! Bra-vo!

This gym is my least favorite spot. There is zero space to work out, all the extra spaces are fully taken by classes around the clock, I tried to adapt to working outside only because all the indoor spaces are fully packed. The next day as I’m mentally prepared to work out outside it was FULLY RESERVED FOR SOME CLASS, i was basically not allowed to enter. This whole membership is a waste of time and money. Gyms are supposed to motivate you and not kick you out.

I mourn the day I have to leave Gainesville because I will be leaving this gym. Such a good place for all around health. It has a sauna, a steam room, a thermal pool, a cold plunge, a pool, tons of machines, tons of space, a good lifting area plus three locations with one membership, and it’s always super clean. I can’t even mention everything in one review, It’s definitely worth the value!

I've been a member at GHF for over a decade now, and it's one of the best gyms I've ever been to. The staff is always friendly, they do their best in keeping the facility clean, and the main center has so much space and equipment! Sometimes their equipment is broken for a while, but that seems recent/COVID times. You won't find a better gym in our area.

Gainesville health and fitness has been a fairly positive experience for my girlfriend and I since we joined several months ago. I take off two stars for two separate reasons. The summer has started and while I am glad the company is investing in the local community by offering a free summer teen admission program. This needs to be better carried out, many of the teens use the gym as a “hangout” often crowding equipment at the gym’s busiest hours. This makes exercising for anyone in the weight room from 4PM-8PM during the week, a time consuming and cumbersome ordeal. Perhaps select teen days free would be better, or time blocks? Adding this many new patrons, regardless if they were teens all at once has deteriorated the value of the gym membership.The second star is off because the locker rooms have been increasingly dirty, especially the showers. Also there is no enforcement of rules by the employees. Many gym members wear sneakers on the pool floor and in the steam room. When asking the staff to help, the staff will tell you the rules are only to deter members from these actions. The staff doesn’t actually enforce them in their job role. Bizarre.

I have been a member for over 40 years and proudly hold a two digit membership number and if you joined today I think you would have a six digit number to remember. 😲 There have been times I either couldn't attend regularly or fell into a lazy streak. But their policy of not increasing your membership fee, if you kept current, caused me to never let it lapse. My lasting impression of this place is the staff. They are so polite and willingly helpful. Besides being my idea of a state-of-the-art gym, it is one of the cleanest ever. My recommendation is to join the team.

Clean. Friendly staff who have never been rude or failed to offer effective assistance or share knowledge when asked :) plenty of space inside and large parking area. lots of equipment multiple specialized areas, solid, frequent updates and projects being worked on by the company. 24 hours, always staffed at the main center. No complaints!

I had a major, extensive back surgery for which I needed PT. I was sent to ReQuest, attached to your main site. Eventually I was sent to the pool PT and the warm pool therapy and also the whirlpool were so very helpful for me.PT offered a one month free membership which transitioned to my signing up as a member.I can’t tell you how much GHF equipment and staff have helped me through this huge physical and emotional transition in my life! I’m so thankful this facility is available close by.
