I've come to the point, where exercise and movement is more important than the fear I experienced before I came back to the gym in the beginnig of the pandemic. I hesitated at first to come back to the gym. Now that I did, I feel safer here than I do in any other place in town. I started bringing my kids to kids club, and I can trust that he will be cared for and safe. Their facility is held up by the top standard of cleanliness, and members are respectful of their part, by wearing masks and cleaning their equipment. Thank you GHF!

I was recently in Gainsville for about 10 days with my wife who was having bypass surgery and needed a swimming pool to maintain my daily swimming routine and found Gainsville Health & Fitness. Everyone I encountered was polite and helpful and I was able to purchase a temporary membership for the week. The pool was clean and well maintained and available 24/7... If you are passing through Gainsville and need a place to work out or swim they offer daily and weekly passes. Thanks for sharing your swimming pool with me, it was greatly appreciated!

Great gym! Lots of machines to make up for how busy they stay! They have a pool, sauna, steam room, massage room, etc. I highly recommend speaking with Marilyn if you want to join she is the best!

I would rate this place five stars if we were not under a pandemic. This place has the best equipments and facilities in the city of Gainesville and it is 24/7. I have been working out in this gym for almost five months. This gym can get super packed from 7am all the way to 11:30pm. Sometimes if you come here at 1am, you can still find decent amount of people especially at the basketball court. It’s actually okay if people actually do wear masks walking around. If you come during the busiest hours of the day, I assure that you will contract coronavirus since people are just not wearing masks while walking in between equipments and there is no warnings from the management team. Also, the basketball court is just even more terrible in terms of population. It specifically said upon entrance that no gameplay is allowed. People just ignore that play pickup games anyway and no staffs actually keep them from doing it. It’s literally like a zoo and a breeding ground for the virus to spread.

Just moved to the area from around Chicago. This is the most exceptional health club I have ever been to. Unbelievable amount of equipment, several options for group classes and training, heated massage beds, sauna and steam, a cold therapy pool!?! Also, they have a physical therapy office next door where they will send you if something is feeling off. I really wish I could give you guys more than 5 stars.

I got a monthly membership last year. Once covid hit I called to cancel it. They gave me a hard time trying to tell me I had to pay a 250$ cancellation fee. I through a fit because I got the monthly membership specifically for that reason. Eventually they let me cancel my membership with no fee. But man oh man did they try to get me to pay that cancellation fee. The equipment is trash and bottom of the barrel. There are better gyms in Gainesville..go there.

I’ve been apart of this gym for over 5 years and I’ve never had a better experience on all ends at any other gym anywhere!. Business, customer service, billing, quality, equipment, classes etc you name it they’ve got it and is top quality! I mean that quite literally! I recommend this gym to everyone for everyone.

Never seen a gym this well maintained and impeccably clean. To top it off, the staff are 100% genuine lovely folk. Great atmosphere and everything you could want to get in shape.

My wife has been a member for over 2 years. Today, I attempted to become a member as well. I was told to sit and wait for someone to assist me with membership. While I waited, 2 people who came in after me who inquired about membership were taken back to talk. The difference? They were younger and were already fit. I’m in my 40’s and need to lose 20 lbs, hence wanting to join.So, this is a great place to join if you’re young, fit, and considered good looking. Otherwise, look elsewhere. (Because of this experience, my wife is planning on canceling her membership.)

GHF is an outstanding fitness club and it is by far the best I have ever experienced. It is super clean and the staff clearly are working hard to sanitize the equipment and provide hand cleaners and wipedowns for the equipment to make sure everyone is safe. Great value!
