GHF- Deborah, Michelle, Abby and all the others have been great to work with. Personal training has helped me so much following extensive back surgery. Everyone has been so nice and helpful.

I was blown away but everything Gainesville Health & Fitness has to offer. The gym was super clean and the people there are very helpful. This is hands down the nicest gym I have ever seen.

My fiancée and I have been members for about a year now and come daily. We have both been largely underwhelmed by this facility. The gym is constantly packed to the point it is difficult or nearly impossible to do your planned workout. We thought this would calm down once UF was on break, but it has only gotten worse. The equipment is pretty outdated and the space is not well utilized. On top of this they charge $62 a month, yet still play loop ads instead of sports on all the TVs other than those in the cardio area. I have never seen another gym do this. The thing keeping this from being a one star is the the staff. Daily interactions / customer service side has been outstanding, but the gym itself needs improvements.

Crazy that planet fitness has more modern machines than this place . I think it’s about time for a serious upgrade in this place other than that, it’s time for a facility inspection for the machines that are from this century as well some of the weights on the machines you can’t even read the weight your selecting. The abductor and adductor machine looks like a machine they used to torture people back in the Stone Age days. Other than that, the staff is great and I love the gym as a whole, but $24.00 a month versus $62.00 a month it’s not a great deal by any meansCMON GUYS !!! ITS 2023 !!!

Started out nice, but don't let them trick you into the contract membership for a few years. Just start out monthly. Hopefully it works for you.Otherwise, if you can afford the membership, just buy your own modest home equipment instead. If you're not a professional weight lifter, then you'll be fine without the extra equipment to work out every possible muscle group.The Equipment is maintained well enough, but it is so crowded most of the time that you sometimes won't get to use it or have to wait a while. The customer service can be pretty bad at times simply because it's so busy, and the lockers have failed me multiple times. The smoothie bar is overpriced for what it is.I'm not sure what constitutes a good gym, but GHF just isn't right for me. Nice place, but just overcrowded.
