Chuze Fitness

This gym is wonderful. Lots of machines so there's always one available & the place is kept very very clean. I have a very sensitive nose & that's been my problem in the past. Smelly gyms, even though they're clean. This place has no funky smell & is immaculate. The workers are always very nice & have a smile on their face! I resisted joining another gym for a very long time. I'm so glad I decided to bite the bullet and join Chuze Garden Grove. I love 'em!

The gym is clean and a great value for the price. If you want great customer service go in the morning. The night crew is rude and they spend most of their time messing around and talking with each other.Update: called today to ask a question and got an attitude and snide remark from one of the employees. How lovely.

Clean and organized. Well priced and a very friendly staff. Only complaint is that it does get extremely packed at peak hours. Well I guess that's what happens when a gym is ran well.

I wanted to do laps in a pool for rehab. After repeated confrontations with people who tried to use the pool as a lounge area contrary to the posted rules and several complaints to management later, I was told "we cater to those people." I promptly left the building and refuse to return.

Updating my review; I primarily work out at Chuze Westminster but once in a while I will hit up the GG location since it has Steam and Sauna... First off the Westminster location exceeds this place by far, it is less crowded, better kept, customer service, and even the patrons (I understand they cannot control this much). They have remodeled and definitely looks better giving a artificial grass area to workout, similar to Chula Vista not as nice though. Improved Sauna as well, but this locations gets too crowded during the week they have a useful chart to see peak times but unfortunately I cannot come in past 9 and seriously expect to have the energy to work out the same. Front desk staff has gotten slightly better in terms of courtesy. Bathroom upkeep could be better enforcement of No cell phone use and monopolizing machines could be better as well. Also they got rid of circuit training area a huge negative . Love cardio cinema though. Chuze needs more locations hopefully in South County which would be really helpful.

I used to have 24 Hour Fitness. I left the gym because I would always feel so uncomfortable. Men staring at you like your a piece of meat, and women parading around and almost nothing activewear. I would drive to 24 Hour Fitness and wouldn't even get out of my car because of the anxiety I had. So I cancelled my membership. And then Chuze Fitness opened up by my house in Garden Grove. I took a tour. The colors are vibrant and welcoming, the cleanliness of this facility, and their no intimidation policy makes it an enjoyable facility to workout at. It's very diverse and there's people of many different ages. Like any other place there are cons, like the hours of operation vary, their sauna is a really small, and they're kind of like Nazis when it comes to wearing shoes in the sauna. I on the other hand don't think it's very sanitary not to wear shoes because people sweat and oftentimes go from the swimming pool to the sauna and track water. If you don't wear shoes your socks will get wet and you can get fungal infection like scabies. Other than that this is gym is amazing. The cost is great. The amenities are awesome. You can take a guest on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday's. I highly recommend it.

This is a very very clean gym. Ton of equipment for your workout needs.Cinema, hydromassage. ....ect.Young people in the front desk are very friendly. Super.

Used this gym for a year liked it but had to move outta state. I had to months left on my year membership so I figured I would just call and cancel after it was up... Its up and I called and I cant cancel over the phone or email. I have to send a fax. Fu chuze.

Yeah , I like the facility itselfNot really friendly staff during my visit. They were just okay. Not really in willing to help.Facility is clean , looks new. Have not tried the pool yet. It Wasn't crowded at the time

This place is great. The staff is very friendly. My boys love the kids club and I do too....the girls are so nice, they even know me by name. The gym is well equipped that even on a busy night you will find exercise equipment available. Love the cinema cardio room, use it everytime I go. The area dedicated to abdominal workouts is pretty cool. I am a regular sauna user, using it after working out completes my workout....but sometimes it's broken or too crowded or not hot enough....this is my only complaint. Clean, plenty of workout choices, child care, tanning beds, massage beds, sauna, steam room, pool, TV's everywhere, lots of classes, and really well priced. But you can't please everyone, that's just how it goes.
