Poor customer service at the front desk. This location changed their check in procedure for guest during their youth basketball season. Instead of being honest and transparent about their changes, when I begin to question why I had to sign when halfway through their basketball season, they didn't check me in before so why now - I was accused of lying because that's always been their process. I was stereotyped by a older woman behind desk who accused of being angry. And I was accused for slamming my ID on the counter when I actually had to reach over several items on their counter to place my ID in front of her. The male behind the front desk told me I could leave if I didn't want to sign when all I was doing was defending myself from him calling me a liar concerning thier process and my questioning their new or inconsistent check-in process. But what finally put the icing on the cake for me was when the lady asked for my phone number as she was signing me in and so I asked her why does she need all this confidential information from me. Instead of explaining exactly what information she was retrieving from my license and why she needed my license and phone number, she walks off and comes back a few minutes later and then said her director will be with me in minute. It made me felt disrespected for asking legitimate questions about their checkin process and why they were collecting my confidential information and how they where planning on using my information. I finally just left due to the unprofessional behavior of their front desk stuff and their failure to show good customer service by just simply being apologetic for failing to sign me in before and explaining how they will start enforcing their checkin policy and why they where collecting and will use my confidential information. For me, due to my position in the surrounding communities and one of my pet-pee is customer service, I won't ever step into this local YMCA again.

Overall a good facility. Locker rooms, steam and sauna need updating and regular cleaning, which wasn’t being done. They have hired staff for general cleaning and maintenance but the bathrooms/showers and steam need regular disinfecting. Spraying down with a 10/1 Clorox pump sprayer and hosing out …would work wonders. Mopping and spraying a can of Lysol is not doing any good. Look forward to seeing the progress they have talked about

If you want to join for pool time don't waste your money. I have severe arthritis I'm not interested in classes. Mostly pain relief and exercise on my own terms. They have it so booked up with classes and events that open pool time is extremely limited and not convenient unless you have an open schedule. YMCA you received a free month of money out of me, but this is the last. Shameful a place has to rip people off to get ahead. When I joined they made it seem like there is lots of open pool time but that's not true.

Very disappointed in their lack of masking in this facility. The pandemic is still causing morbidity and mortality that requires us to take care of each other. They are not doing that at this facility.
