Planet Fitness

Joined PF a month ago and am absolutely loving the decision. Even when busier than normal, there are plenty of machines open. The staff and other members are always smiling and happy to answer questions. I used to think gyms were for lunks, but PF has changed that!

Always a friendly hello when I walk in, machines are taken care of and available, and the 24/7 hours. I love that I can come in get my workout done without feeling as if people are watching me and most of all I love the culture of the gym because as a woman I do not have to worry about men trying to "help me". People mind their business and workout in peace.

Worst experience ever trying to cancel with this gym. Be aware that if you cancel keep your forms since they will hold onto your paperwork and won’t process it until day that they can charge you again. I came up there before my 7 days to cancel and they didn’t process until the 7th day, so that they could say I didn’t make it in time and charge me for the next month! Horrible customer service! Good thing I kept my form on when I went up there and canceled. They will give you the run around just to cancel your contract. I advise to never do a contract with this gym! Go month to month its way safer for you and your money.

I'm trying to get into better shape. This place has lots of new faces, the staff are active. The machines are usually cleaned. No complaints, they also have free wifi so you don't have to use your data. I got 2 times a week to walk. Good place.

Definitely one of the nicest locations I've visited. Very well laid out and easy to navigate. The bathrooms were really nice. Music volume was kept to a minimum.And no guest log was tossed in my face when I check in.

My wife and I visited just to check the place out. Scottie showed us around and was very professional and informative. The facilities were exceptionally clean, there was no usual gym odor, the machines were all in working order and looked brand new. Before going to the Cedar Hill Planet Fitness I had reviewed their website thoroughly. When it came time to talk prices we were shown a copy of the price list that was displayed on the website - including a note that these prices were good thru the end of the month. But the prices shown on the web were scratched out and higher prices were hand written on the sheet. This was disturbing and the reason for a generous 3 star rating.

OH MAN!!!! This is one of the nicest Planet Fitness I've been to. 4 different hydro beds with 10 minutes, SWEET!!! All the new equipment like row machines on the floor. Loved it. I did think it a little odd that staff were scrubbing the floors at 10am. Seems more like an over night task to me.

One of the best gyms I have been to. An obviously attentive staff keeps the place clean despite heavy use. Lockable dressing rooms. Doors on showers instead of curtains. Showers had good pressure and plenty of heat for my tight, hard, aching muscles. Great gym! Top notch!

I am not in the puppy love phase. I came here from Anytime Fitness and I have nothing but high praises for this facility. Clean, organized, well lit, big beautiful gym. The staff are some of the friendliest people I've ever met. Very helpful, they don't try and talk you out of using the equipment like the massagers or tanning beds. No brash words on the signs. Just absolutely tickled pink about this place. A lot of gyms can learn some things from PF! Keep up the good work! I didn't get my warm welcome like the email said, but that's all null and void because of the satisfaction I have here

I used free weights for about 2 years to work out at home and had to change plans when I injured my shoulder. As I was nearing my surgery date I wanted to continue my workouts the best I could. I switched to Planet Fitness from home. My wife is on the twenty plus dollar plan for the therapy section in the facilities so I am the one guest free when she goes to use the machines. I use the weight machines to isolate muscle groups so I can avoid the injured part of my shoulder. I am very happy that this is working. It has been two months now and surgery is near. Looking and experiencing Planet Fitness, I am considering continuing to go there post surgery because of the variety of weights and machines I can use. The place is clean and the customer service is great. Overall, I give PF five stars.
