I'm actually cancelling my membership today. Been on since May. Too many surprise charges (even if you pay cash or debit). It starts out $10 per month, but then automatically escalates to the full $42.22 for the year without them explicitly mentioning it. Then when you call to complain, they offer no refunds. Its not about the money, they feel like they can charge you what they want, when they want and get away with it. Whatever the price, I will pay as long as there is an agreement to a monthly or a yearly amount. They should be more transparent and forthcoming about their billing practices upfront. When you try to question their practices, they tell you that their service is not pay as you go and that it is up to you if you use the gym or not. So done.

They don’t have foam rollers that we need for our muscles to prevent extreme soreness and injuries. This is the only planet fitness I’ve been to that doesn’t have any foam rollers. Also, there’s not enough stretching mats and I don’t like how some of the mats are placed right below the window which blinds your eyes when it’s daytime. Please resolve these issues. Other than that, the gym is perfect and clean and if it wasn’t for these minor issues I would have given 5 stars.

Its an awesome gym to work out at... The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star rating is because the manager won't let me take my shirt off and rub baby oil on myself while I yell and grunt in front of the mirror... Other then that its a very family like setting.

Considering this location JUST opened today, I don't see how it received 5 stars a week ago, but I will tell you why I'm giving it 1 star today. Because I can't write a review unless I do!! My coworker and I were excitedly waiting for this location to open since it's so close. We both have WellonTarget memberships through our insurance, and she went in earlier this evening and signed up. I decided to go so we could meet in the morning. I tell them what I'm there to do and he tells me to have a seat. He finally comes over and tells me that he knows what I'm trying to do but their system isn't set up yet to do that. I told him that a friend of mine just got her membership not two hours ago, and I called before I came in to make sure they could do it. He then ask me can I call my friend to see what location she signed up for because they couldn't do them yet. Maybe he is slow to comprehend or maybe there were two Cedar Hill locations that opened today. I'll stick with LA and Anytime.

I have been coming here since they opened and I enjoy most of it. The staff is great except for one person...if I asked her a question she acts like I'm interrupting her internet time. .when she is supposed to be cleaning the ladies locker room, I can always tell because it looks the worst... if she sets you up on anything it's wrong...she once sent me to the vibra shake and someone else was in it. Her name starts with a d.....she is clearly a weak link...

Friendly staff and a well kept gym. Read the reviews of the other gyms in the area so this resonates... Downside: dumbbells only up to 75 points and no decline bench (albeit I hear of a ghost decline bench that I've never seen). Nevertheless, that's their business model so 5 stars. I knew what I signed up for!

I've been to many planet fitness gyms all over the country. This is by far one of the best. It's large, lots of equipment, large locker rooms, it's very clean and well organized. Would definitely recommend this to anyone the is looking to get back into a gym routine to start with. A great facility overall.

Love this location! Have been coming for over a week now. Usually go when it’s not busy. Always clean and well ventilated. Staff is always friendly & helpful. Also love the massage chairs including the hydobeds. Wish there was less tanning rooms & at least one sauna.

I’m very satisfied so far. However, I don’t like the way I was treated by the general manager the day I signed up. She was either having a bad day, or just plain rude, though every other time she’s been generally nice.That’s not to say all of the other staff has treated me outstandingly so far, they have been really helpful and kind; leaps and bounds better than the folks over at 24 Hr Fitness.The gym itself is brand new and has very modern machines (such as those beautiful arc trainers and rowing machines). AH, and those private showers in the locker rooms are HEAVEN! No more skimpy curtains.This gym has most equipment found at other places (I’ve been a member of LA, 24 Hr, and the YMCA) but lacks some other more specific ones, such as smaller barbells and different size bars. However, it’s kind of hard to complain given having free personal training and the price being 10 dollars. In general, I’d highly recommend.PS: Fixing those outside lights out on the parking lot would help, especially past dark. These are all mostly inactive and I’ve seen some shady looking people walking across from the strip mall to the right.

Big bang for your buck!Very clean, A lot of machines, friendly staff. What more could you ask for?
