UPDATE: I contacted their support team, not the billing department, and they waived the fees for me. Saving me $100. This should be part of their contract and more transparent. I don't think anyone could imagine they would be charged the rate guarantee if they are cancelling their membership. So if Vasa is reading these reviews, update your contracts, make it more transparent that yes even the rate guarantee will be billed even though you are leaving. Or here is a better idea, don't charge people the rate guarantee if they are cancelling. To me that's just the right thing to do.First off, I love the staff and facilities here in Greeley. My gripe is with their cancellation policies. I did not see myself going back to the gym any time soon. So I went ahead and extended my "Pause" for another three months. Then my wife and I decided to go ahead and cancel. I know their agreement states that there is a 30 day notice (which is a money grab if you ask me) for cancellation. And any billing during that 30 days will be charged as normal. Fine, take my monthly fee. But here is where it gets down right ludicrous. They are also going to go ahead and charge me AND my wife the $50 rate guarantee fee. Even though we are not going to be a member in 30 days. Now that is definitely a last ditch effort to milk as much money out of us and does not sit well with me. So I'm out almost $200 just to quit. Fine take my monthly fee but the rate guarantee?!?! I feel duped, robbed and can not recommend a business with such billing practices. I will never enter a gym with this type of billing and cancellation setup.

For the record- VASA gyms are trash in general and I can’t wait to never go in one again. They are all excessively busy I suspect for no reason other than Colorado is extremely lacking in commercial or standard gyms. I cannot count how many times I haven’t been able to do a work out because I could barely walk in the facility. Greeley is a little more reasonable than most hence they extra star but the hours are complete trash for anyone who is busy. Sundays doesn’t open until 7- close at 5. Really?

Update:They replied to this review and said they would be contacting me. That never happened. Instead they sent a debt collector to harrass me. All over 80 dollars. The gym and staff is nice. The customer service itself is horrible. I tried canceling my membership, but could never get though to an actual representative. I also couldn't figure out how to do it online. It was easier to cancel my debit card. Now they keep charging an account that is closed and harassing someone who hasn't used there gym in months.

They’re personal trainers are top notch! I’ve been working with Hugo for over a year and we’re making steady progress towards my goal. He’s tough but that’s what I need to make up for many years of bad habits. I’m becoming more confident …

I’ve been going to VASA for about a year and a half now and I couldn’t recommend it more. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. I’ve enjoyed working with all of the trainers. I would particularly recommend Shawn as a personal trainer. It’s clear during every session that Shawn has put a lot of thought and time into developing the best session for his clients and I have made more progress on my goals than I ever thought I would. I plan to continue going to VASA for the foreseeable future! :)

Staff is very friendly & helpful.Have only experienced one grumpy, not friendly front desk check-in employee the last year. Other than that, the facility is clean & equipment is useful. Only thing I would want it light in the parking lot for those who go late.

Have worked out in several different gyms over a course of 35 years.. VASA falls in an above average gym. They have made equipment and facility upgrades the last few months. A couple of things that could make the gym safer for everyone. They should look at having floor walkers, to help spot, correct improper use of equipment, etc... The other is a health concern..the men's locker room hasn't been sweep or mopped for over a couple of weeks...the same floss picks has been on the floor.

Tried to get a membership set up for the family. Showed up to the gym only to find out we would have to add on multiple fees to bring a child. I was hoping we could figure it out and even asked to talk to a manager. No manager was around felt like these employees didn't care. Problems could not be solved so we ended up canceling right then and there. Thank God you can cancel your membership free within 72 hours.I will never do business with a gym that tries to slide in fees and monthly charges after you sign up. I'll gladly pay more for a gym membership that's up front to you from the beginning.Beware of this place. Not a place for family memberships.

Greeley, CO has a very clean facility! I was greeted by amazing hosts at the front desk right when I came in the door! They weren’t pushy trying to get me to buy the biggest promotion. They asked about my goals and what I needed! Emily and Ariel (I think that’s name) made The Vasa environment feel like a family! Thank you
