Best gym in the area with super friendly staff and nice gym equipment. Leo is the best and helped me enroll in a new gym membership. He’s the best and only reason why I go to this gym. So if you’re looking to start the new year off right and get a gym membership, make sure to ask for Leo.

There was a leak coming from the ceiling and the staff didn’t seem to care. A lot or weights are just lying around everywhere and they don’t seem to be cracking down on it. The staff play very loud and unwanted music. I can hear it through my headphones.

Clean, friendly, overall easy going place. Came here 1pm to 4pm.Wish they would clean the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room at different hours, but I'd likely say that if I was here for those hours too.

Not enough equipment during heavy hours, and some of the treadmill don't work properly. The 24hr Corp needs to Recess, update & remove old equipment in this gym. It hasn't been renovated since they put it here.. Some of the seats are cracked & the handles are dilapidated.. its in a heavy populated gym in a popular area with insufficient weight equipment...

Gym equipment is getting more raggedy & customer service even worse. Chris the night worker has thee worst attitude with Muslims & he’s not the only one. Residents of this community are woven in the fabric of this community. Grow or go. We are past the days of prejudice and Latasha Harlins. I had a worker tell me I angrily SNATCHED the check in scanner one day. Hard NO! I watched you gossip with a guest for five minutes while patiently waiting my turn. Painting Muslims like the “angry black woman,” is a subtle gesture of bigotry. FYI! Get it together 24.

What is this trash on the ceiling everywhere? Is it dust or mold ! I have health concerns coming here!

This particular location is not too bad...The 1 MAIN thing I miss about 24 hour Fitness is the fact that they are NOT 24 hours anymore...I feel like because of that, they should consider taking membership prices down.Staff is friendly and helpful but lockers and showers are not always cleaned daily. You will find stuff that has been left there sometimes for more than 2 days...Also, it USE TO BE not too crowded here but NOW it's over crowded and sometimes have to wait to use a machine. There is also way too many kids here now and they will play around and hog a machine. That part is annoying...Seen and heard of a lot of cars getting broken into at this location because the area is kinda ghetto and there is gang related activities going on.P.S. I wouldn't take the little time I do have to write paragraphs and lies on here. Just saying everything I am saying IS TRUE.

Good enough. They only have two free weight squat racks which has to be pretty inconvenient when it’s busy. Otherwise, they had the necessities and the equipment I needed worked just fine.

I have been a member of 24 hour fitness for 14 years, and this by far is the worst 24 that I have been to out of all the gyms and I've visited( LaCienega, Compton, Carson, South Bay, LAX (small), and Manhattan). It is extremely dirty by the swimming pool area. The steam room has not been open since 2020. The jacuzzi is broken with some yellow caution tape by the jacuzzi stairs letting you know it's broken (since2020). The walls upstairs look like they have yeast coming out(or something that isn't suppose to be there). This is not at any of the other gyms because I've gone to look. I've asked staff what it is and no one seems to know what the fuzzy stuff on the walls and boulders are. This gym got bailed out after filing for bankruptcy in 2020, so what is the excuse for having a broken steam room, jacuzzi and fuzzy walls (No it's not insulation) after 2 years? This is unacceptable. If you have been here, you know what I'm talking about. Write in to the BBB (Better business Bureau). Let them know. Nothing will change if people just complain about it to other patrons.

I used to ride my bike 2.5 miles to this gym every day. I loved the gym. I knew where everything was. So sorry it's closed. At Torrance del amo the staff treats me like a VIP. The staff from the Hawthorne gym that is. Leo is the man!
