Great besides some small maintenance issues with some of their machines. Staff is extremely nice and helpful and isn't at all excessive with the "Lunk Alarm" that usually gives PF a bad wrap. They only really set it off when people are yelling and legitimately tossing weights.

I have been trying to cancel my membership for almost 4 months. The first time I spoke to an employee and they said they would cancel it. It shows up on my bank statement the next month. I called again and spoke to the manager who said usually he liked a written notice, but he would handle my cancelation. He asked for my birthday to verify. Next month, again, I am billed for the membership. I called again and finally got hold of the manager again. For the third time, I am told I will not be charged. He said he said he would cancel my membership. I asked him for my $60 that had been charged since I had been told it would be canceled, and he said he couldn't do that. I would never join them again, if I can every get out of my membership.

Very clean, sanitizing stations at every machine and space; locker rooms superbly clean, no lunks lurking around; very friendly employees, great trainers available, all Black Card Amenities were very clean and always available; I would give this place a 10 out of 10!

Friendly staff, sanitized equipment as well as all other surfaces around the gym. Very clean locker rooms and bathrooms. Helpful app that shows how busy it is at any given time. Staff constantly sterilizing machines and several locations with sanitizer and paper towels for use on equipment. All around best gym especially for the price. I recommend the black membership mainly for the use of the hydro massage and massage chairs plus many other perks like half off drinks, bring a guest, tanning beds, etc. I'm very happy I chose Planet Fitness.

Great gym, with all ages attending and zero body shaming allowed. Lovely and attentive trainers, who will write out specific details tailored for your body's needs. The High Point location is one of their smaller gyms, but it has all the machines and free weights one could need. They have nice dressing rooms, fantastic tanning beds and a room for premium members with massage chairs, aqua bed, etc. The staff is always very nice, helpful and attentive, as well.

So the staff here likes to set off the "lunk alarm" to call their associates to the front. Idk why there isn't an intercom system or walkie talkies in use but how safe is it to set off an alarm every half hour that scares people who could be holding weights over their heads? Talked to the staff and they said that's policy. Doubtful but if it is that is a dangerous and foolish policy.I suffer from PTSD as do many others and this makes my workout experience uncomfortable and unsettling.

When I visit this gym I am always greeted with a smile and warm welcome. The employees do a great job keeping the gym clean. I can tell the employees have been properly trained. Thank you all for going above and beyond my expectations.

Great gym for the price! If you are looking for a cheap gym with many other gym beginners, this is a great place to go. Not everyone is a kind of gym newbie, but many are, so the place feels much friendlier to those who have never been to a gym before. The place is clean and has many different pieces of workout equipment. I would definitely recommend this place. I dropped one star since they could be friendlier and more in uniting than they are currently.

I like Planet Fitness a lot. They are reasonably priced. I do wish they offered group exercise classes, but it's a good place to workout.

This place has the nastiest GM Jennifer she is very disrespectful and normally is walking around with an attitude! I called to handle a situation with them about my card information very upset by the way as a customer that hasn’t been to the gym in over 6 months due to birth in the family but still paying monthly decides to start yelling at me because I have an “attitude”. She is very unprofessional and didn’t offer me anything but to cancel my membership! Horrible service and o don’t recommend them to any go to south Main a lot better people! This is Wilbert Dow
