Something about PF makes me want to tel everyone I know and don’t know to go there. Even if u have another gym. You can’t beat the price! Besides, most people are just average ppl that wants to live a healthy life style, not necessarily tool heads. However; you can make serious progress at PF no matter what your goal is. With a little tweaking here and there, you can get a serious bulk! I’m very comfortable working out at PF. It’s clean, staff are friendly, everything is placed where it belongs and surrounded by beautiful ppl of all sizes shapes and color that put their differences away and work side by side having this one thing in common!I have to think hard to come up with something I would change, but one thing that does come to mind is the lockers. I can swear up and down that something going on with these lockers. They might be possessed or somebody keeps messing with me. I only use one set of pin to everything. 80% of the time I get locked out, and now the awkwardness of going up front and letting the attendant know that I’m locked out assuming “I forgot the code”. It got to the point I record video every time I use locker; the bad news I haven’t proved it’s possessed yet but the good news is I never got locked out again :)And one more thing, the turn around repair on the little stuff takes a long time. For example, the clock in 360 room have been broken for over 2 months now. I can use my watch or look at my phone but soooo much easier to just look up at wall in middle of exercise!Love PF keep doing what you are doing!

No. Just no. I was absolutely offended and appalled at this gym. As someone who has worked out for quite a few years and is very involved in the fitness industry, I know about planet fitness and their rules regarding the judgement free zone and the lunk alarm. While I find those a bit extreme, I ascribed to their rules while I was in their gym out of respect. I was merely there while my home gym was in transition. In the times I did use planet fitness, I was told that I was "working out too hard and making others uncomfortable" and that I "know too much about fitness to be in their gym" (no joke). I actually lam a fitness trainer to all types of people, including several professional athletes and i am a rehab specialist...so I do know the human body and how to train it. However, their head trainer stood and watched me workout twice (made it no secret that he was watching my every move) and then proceeded to tell me that I needed to keep my workouts more simple if i was in their gym. Being a friendly person myself, I tried to make conversation with him and understand where he was coming from, but he just threatened to kick me out of the gym. After our conversation, i watched him begin training a client and he had her do EVERY EXERCISE that I had done in my workout...same order, same set design, same reps. He had her doing things that are unsafe for a beginner, and I was terrified that she was going to injure herself the whole time she was working out. I was absolutely appalled and approached him about it in a professional manner after he was finished training her. He said that if I was using his gym then my workouts were free game. Clearly I never returned.

I initially signed up for an 18 mo term and it expired 4/7. My weekdays are very tight and I don't have time to renew after my am workout. I don't like my time wasted. I tried to renew on a monthly plan on the 6th of April and the girl at the counter, unbeknownst to me, unable to process my request said.. oh, you're good for a couple of more weeks. I said ok, whatever, I'll be back. I run on the trail, as it is warm, and go back 4 days later and another girl says it's expired. Go figure. I said I'll come back Saturday again after my workout and renew. Go in Saturday and the weekend girl confesses she can't do it and needs a manager. No manager on duty. They'll be in Sunday. Make a special trip on Sunday, off day, and.... same girl. No manager on duty. No renewal. Waste of my time. I'll run the trail. Hire competent people.

Staff not attentive at the counter, have to wait until they “notice you”. Paper Towels are empty often. Most of the time the massage loungers are out of order. Would not recommend this location.

Was a big waste of money and time. Wife signed up for an annual membership and until she signed then they said the hidden charges of a monthly fee and was still billing us annual each month. Went to cancel today and the fee was reasonable I guess but the tax with it was outrageous. Wife also tried calling the corporate line and basically said you had to "go to your home gym." This place is a scam and would not recommend to anyone ever.

PF Independence is a great facility for anyone who wants to have good workouts with the added bonus of massage and tanning. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hours are great. The price can't be beat.
