recently its been good however as of today, 7/13/2022, the staff added more cardio machine which takes up 90% of the gym and barely any room for other equipments.

I really appreciate you staffing at townshipline road and 86street,especially the young manager, She's a professional problem solver, I WAS once faced with a situation ,her kind words and actions clear up the problem.I would "RECOMMEND" ANYONE WHO WANT TO EXERCISE, I WOULD SAY PLEASE go to planet fitness at 86street. Planet Fitness is a great facility. The staff is pleasant and quick to assist you with your needs. The building and equipment is super clean and fresh. PF offers great bang for your buck!

this is the worst planet fitness to go to. they by far have the worst staffing, they will go out of their way to not allow you to use the gym freely if it’s not your home gym. I have a black card membership and was denied my guest for no reason when all of the other planet fitness I’ve been to like Carmel and out west have had no issues with me or bringing a guest. It’s the literal reason I got this membership. They are biased and unprofessional and the quality of the other indianapolis planet fitness are much better equipment wise, locker room and showers, staff, more friendly and bigger! If you ever find yourself in a situation here and they will only refer you to in store managers who aren’t helpful do yourself a favor and go to another planet fitness location, explain to them and you will find a higher up manager outside of the store to communicate with, don’t even waste your time on them!

Nice gym but they keep turning up the background music. It's getting hard to hear what playing on my own headphones. No lie, my audio is jacked all the way up and between the normal gym noises and the bumpin overhead music, I can only make out every 3rd word of the podcast. At least it's good music, but I didn't come to listen to the gym music. Normally it's at a good level, but recently it seems like the music has been turn up.

My go to Planet Fitness at Indy's Northside. Have no issues getting in. They just extended their 24 hour operations from Monday-Friday which is great. Machines are clean, bathrooms can use a bit better cleaning when they are busier in the evenings. Have massage chairs, tanning booths, and hydro-massage beds which are great!

Half of the gym and the men's locker room are closed for renovations and optimistic estimates from employees state it will be 2 MONTHS before the locker room opens up again. I can't even wash my hands before or after a workout. Tried to cancel my membership online but had to go in person to cancel. Social media rep was rude and unhelpful. On top of that, I'm being charged for the next month, even though I canceled today. Planet fitness touts themselves as the everyman's gym, but they are just as predatory about their membership as everyone else.Re: renovations...why were members not notified this was going to happen? You guys literally spam my phone notifications about special offers like referral bonuses but no Information AT ALL about the renovations until after you walk in the club. I don't mind the renovations but closing the entire men's locker room (reassigning it to the ladies) and forcing the guys to use port o potties with no running water is disgusting. No employees wear masks and maybe 3% of members do. Social distancing is no longer a thing as machines are squeezed together for the reno work. Avoid this club at all costs.

I started in this gym, only $20 and you have all the machines you can bring a friend and use the massage chair, it is a really good place to start in the fitness word!(This review applied for the 86th location, because the 38th location feels unsafe one day some broke the glass door, I had to leave and never come back to that location)

I visited this location twice this weekend and just wanted to share how impressed I am with the young woman that was working both afternoons. Her name tag identified her as a new team member, but it certainly didn't show. Very knowledgeable, helpful, welcoming, professional. She managed the desk and floor like a seasoned pro. Keep up the outstanding work!

Smaller than We are use to. I went in the afternoon which is not my norm. I do not like when its a lot of people in a gym. There were no waiting for equipment which was great. The young lady at front desk was helpful with walking my daughter through the Planet fitness app. This was the first day in a new planet fitness. It seemed to be clean. The machines are all in compliance with social distance. The atmosphere was not bad. I will update if anything changes. Update 4/19/22They are currently doing renovation so the black card amenities are not available. It's done every 10years. Only massage chairs
