Athletico Physical Therapy - Iowa City East

I had an amazing experience with my therapist who was friendly, encouraging and effective. After graduating I am very happy with my choice of physical therapy providers. The front desk staff also made me feel welcome and comfortable. The Covid procedures were sensible and made me feel safe. Hopefully I will not need to return, but if I have some other injury this would be the only place I would go.

I first started to going to Athletico East Iowa City after a work injury that resulted in a fall. I was greeted and treated with the outmost respect and kindness from the physical therapists and front desk staff. I was able to explain my injury and Matt, my physical therapist, tailored my exercises and stretches to improve my function tremendously. I ended up severely dislocating my knee cap and tearing my medial patellofemoral ligament, the inside part of my knee. I am a surgical nurse and am required to be on my feet helping patients for 12 hours or more a day. I have looked forward to coming to physical therapy since the first day I came to Athletico. I would highly recommend Matt or Brandi for any of your need to gain strength, function, or endurance. They are very kind and patient people and have your goals in mind to return to normal life. Thank you Athletico for all your support over the last few weeks of my injury.

I was getting PT for a total knee replacement at Athletico with Brandi. From day one to discharge she was extremely supportive and encouraging. She demonstrated thorough knowledge in order to answer all my questions and progress my treatment. I had a great experience with all the staff at this facility. They are friendly and professional. My only wish was I would’ve come more often and stayed longer If insurance would’ve covered it! I highly recommend Athletico and Brandi and Matt’s expertise.

I ended up needing PT after a revision hip replacement I had in September. I started going here twice a week to work with Matt at this office around mid November.Everyone at this location was super pleasant to work with, and Matt is an excellent therapist! I was given guidance and a large assortment of exercises and stretches to get my joint up and running properly again.I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of physical therapy!

I have been going here over the years for a few things from ice falls to knee pain. Everyone is great they are really helpful.
