Athletico Physical Therapy - Iowa City East

Recently saw Matt for some knee issues I was having. He had me do various exercises (definitely broke a sweat for a few of them) that helped a lot! He also sent me home with some at home exercises do do which was really helpful for the days I didnt go in.They were really good about spacing out appointments during this Covid pandemic, so that there were only one or two people in the space at once which eased my mind a lot!I went for about a month (twice a week) and my knee feels much better. I still feel a little twinge here and there but overall I am happy with the way it feels!

Athletico Physical Therapy was just a great place to receive help fora hip problem. Shelbie always greeted me with a smile and called me by name. Dr. Matt was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about what to do for me. The equipment is in terrific shape. I would highly recommend the Iowa City East location of Athletico.

Went here for a work related postural muscle problem. Both Brandi and Matt are great. Gave me some great stretches to do at home. Gave great recommendations for further exercises once treatment was complete. Highly recommend this physical therapy office.

The team here at Athletico did a great job helping me get back in the gym. Both Matt and Brandi were very helpful and friendly in getting my neck and shoulder straightened out. Great location for me as well. I would definitely recommend going here.

I had a very lovely experience here. I was treated with respect and courtesy. The staff are all nice and courteous and friendly as well. I worked with Brandilynne and she was GREAT! She was very sweet and definitely helped restore my function back to normal. If I ever needed PT I wouldn’t hesitate to pick up the phone and schedule an appointment at this location. Appointments were super easy to schedule and they are able to work about any schedule! Great staff! Clean equipment! Pain reduced! What more can you ask for from PT.

I would recommend Athletico to anyone in need of physical therapy services. Matt and Brandi were great to work with and it is a very friendly/personable environment. Shelbie, Office Coordinator always greets you with a smile. Scheduling was convenient and they offer a variety of appointment times to accommodate any schedule.

Excellent physical therapy by professionals that take the time to understand your needs. Easy access and parking behind Blackstones. Have been to them for two courses of treatment over several months and would definitely return if I need more.

Very knowledgeable staff! Matt has great stretching advice and really showed he cared about me getting better and staying healthy. Will definitely come back if I have a future sports injury.

I was very pleased with my care and interactions with all the staff at this facility. They were knowledgeable about my injury and made sure we had similar goals prior to me starting my course of therapy. I appreciated how they treated me as a partner rather than just a patient.
