The reason for two stars is that the air conditioning works at the new location. Went to the new gym yesterday and the place was filthy. I wanted to go to the bathroom but could not stand the smell and there was no toilet paper. The biggest complaint is that the old gym had three multi-complete gyms to do multiple weight training workouts that was ALWAYS full, and the new gym kept the same number. Did anybody research what was needed at the new location? It takes so long to get a spot that you just give up. Also, one rope, are you kidding? I have asked the front desk almost every time I go when they will buy more ropes, and they never have an answer except for, "we know, sorry". They put in like 50 squat stations and fell short on everything else. They also do not have a spin room anymore. I was told it was because there was no demand, what a joke. Every class was always full before the stupid lock down! Have been waiting for three years for 24 Hour to bring back spin and now I know that they will never do that. Will be looking at other work out places that offer classes. New gym, so disappointing!

The gym has ALWAYS been super crowded. Even at the old location, but now, with the new gym, it's multiplied twice by how packed it is.The gym equipment is great, yes, but I haven't been able to actually do proper compound lifts within a year because I can't get a bench, rack, etc. I've tested out all time slots. Late nights, early mornings, on the weekends, so on and so forth. At all times it is terrible in terms of the amount of machines, benches, and racks available. If you're a starter the gym is decent, but honestly for people trying to advance, this gym isn't on my number one "go-to" list.

New gym opened in August 2023. It's a large gym with lots of machines, squat racks, benches, etc. However, it's always super crowded in here. It is especially bad peak hours. The cheap pricing draws in the crowds. I would say during peak hours they are at about 130% capacity; there is simply not enough machines for everyone in there. They need to open another one to alleviate the crowds.

Wow! I love a brand new gym but I truthfully never though the one at the marketplace would get one before the other 24 hour fitness locations.I guess Irvine company ended up buying the lot where the old gym used to be so they really had no choice but to move. The new gym is housed where the Bed Bath & Beyond used to be and is next door to the cost plus world market store. The outdoor area is now completely gone and the pool is a lot smaller but I'm still rather impressed with the gym offerings especially knowing that Irvine Company paid for all the brand new equipment. For starters, the training area is much bigger than the outdoor training area from the old gym. This location has always had the most Olympic platforms and squat racks but this renovated one had a whopping 8 Olympic platforms, 2 throw down cage/platforms, and I think 4-5 more squat racks towards the back of the gym. That's some really impressive numbers! Also for my glute fanatics, they now have 5 glute bridge machines rather than the 3 they used to have.I'm not much of a machine person but I took photos of the entire gym. If you go through the photos I'm sure you'll find the impressive selection here.My only gripe is that I've never used American barbells before and the steel hooks they use to hold the barbells can shift and move a bit which seems a bit dangerous to me. Also, those weights are so cumbersome as they're not as smooth and easy to remove from the machine as other weights. Tiny inconveniences. Not really a huge dealbreaker.I love that they have 2 different saunas here, a standard and an infrared. Too bad I couldn't use it as there was a limit of 4 people in the IR sauna and the regular one was closed until further notice. One thing I also noted is that they only appear to have 2 water filter stations/fountains in the entire gym. Not sure if they had them elsewhere but it's right at the entrance of the gym... and only one of them seemed to be working. Oh well. At least it's filtered, I suppose.I haven't gone here yet during a busy post-work evening, so my experience so far has been quite positive. Regardless, it is a gorgeous new gym and I'm glad it's here now.

The newest gym in the area was nice to finally see for the first time!I checked in with my watch app scan code and walked past the front desk with other members, as the front desk staff seemed oblivious to our arrival.Nonetheless, I proceeded to do a self guided tour and was impressed by the expansive floor space and all new fitness equipment! There was still lots of open floorspace that had yet to be filled in. Large rooms for classes and private fitness routines lined the perimeter. The dressing and locker room entrances were to the far left of the front desk, just beyond the hanging punching bags and past the indoor pool windows. The men’s locker space was relatively small for such a large gym. There were adequate workout stations and even multiple machines of the same exercises.Although the gym was a bit crowded, wait times were minimal and if there was hogging, it was easy to find other stations to work the same muscle groups. I even had instances where members offered and were offered to work-in with me, sharing equipment between sets!Aerobic equipment appeared nice and new, tho for a medium budget gym, the level of quality comes with the territory. The new indoor pool looked good, as the former gym at Jamboree and Bryan had an outdoor pool. Ironically, the new pool never had an open lane the whole time I was here. The old one always seemed to have an opening lane. When leaving, once again the usual friendliness I regularly see at other 24 Hr Fitness Gyms was lacking here. Just as well, with the ease of the check in and going thru unimpeded, a quick workout couldn’t be more simple!Overall I had a fairly good impression of the place, was glad to have worked out here and will return whenever I get the chance!

It amazes me you have a new facility and the janitorial service is not up to par. Hoist CMJ-6000 9 Station Dual Pod, one more would be nice and more Tricep Rope, D-Handle, V-Shaped Bar, in spite of that the facility is awesome.

This is supposed to be the new location and the replacement for the former 24 Fitness, located at Jamboree and Bryan, which sadly had to close down due to a construction project scheduled by the Irvine Company. The equipment is new, and the number of machines for weight training has increased, which is good; the 3 stars are for that. However, what threw me off were the treadmills and the ellipticals! I mean, the number one reason I have been driving from Main St. Irvine, all the way up to Bryan St, was because of those two things at the old place. I have a knee and hip condition, and the treadmills and ellipticals at the old place were the only ones that never gave me a hard time, while at the same time, I was able to maintain a steady cardio workout.I have canceled many memberships with clubs like LA Fitness due to this sole reason, and I guess I have to find a different location since I will be having the same issue with this new location.I couldn't even do half of what I could do on those so-called ellipticals! The treadmills made my knees hurt; I hope they replace them soon, otherwise, I will have no choice but to cancel.

Super happy that they moved to a bigger a brighter space :) love loveI’d give the full 5 stars if their cleanup stations weren’t so bad lol 😆 they need spray bottles not whatever hand pump things they have right now. Hopefully the gym will add some soon :) stay safe and be clean people! …

DISAPPOINTED-NASTY DIRTY - CHEAP EQUIPMENT. I had switched over to 24-Hour fitness after seeing a new Gym would be opening. I was fine and made due with the machines barely working and dirty gym with the back thought of a NEW gym is on its way. Today is 3 days into the new gyms opening and it is FILTHY, hardly any machines. The set up of the weights & machines hardly have a rhythm or flow but I feel like they threw machines anywhere to fill in empty spaces and the cardio equipment is so cheap so expect lots of broken cardio, it seems that it was rushed. It is constantly OVER crowded, the worst is how dirty and its new with already broken machines since day 2! The management NEEDS to apply some of the many NEW memberships being over sold and buy necessary equipment and hire an overnight porter to maintain the cleanliness and up keep of the new gym facilities so it doesn't deteriorate like the last..I should mention the bathrooms smell worst than a porta potty on a summer day that hasnt been dumped ...This is the management's fault! Do they not walk the facility? I feel like I overpaid for a dirty planet fitness because they even have better equipmentat this rate. I was going to post pictures but due to it being the gym I'm not, we will just say the light stone floors look black and you can't even see yourself in the mirrors the air freshener dispenser even fell from the ceiling and just remained on the floor, the shower drains and floor are full of hair , i hold it until i get home because it smells so bad and no toilet paper.. EOS is a better gym, just saying. Sadly disappointed.!

Please impose proper sauna etiquette. The beautiful light wooden walls have dark shoe marks all across the bottom part of it, the lower bench is stained with, yet again, dark shoe marks by those who step on it with their sneakers on to get to the top bench. It’s a sauna, not a workout room; at the very least, prohibit sneakers inside the sauna/pool area and provide a shoe rack by the entrance. Without a doubt, there will complains about the inconvenience in the beginning, but they will acclimate. Especially when not given a choice. It really is just a very minor inconvenience. Management knows most—except for the few lost causes—everyone care about a clean space, and while I understand that it’s impossible to keep it pristine, at least impose the obvious necessary restrictions needed to keep it so. It’s a brand new gym; start it off right; start it now before everyone has had enough time to develop inappropriate gym habits in this new facility. You will attract far more customers if keep a reputation of having a well-maintained gym. Lastly, former Culver location had 3 packed classes in the afternoon/evening on Fridays. U-Jam, TKB, and Zumba that turned into an after-hours dance party. TKB was also somewhat of a dance party. The collective energy of the class had more intensity. I hope they add Friday night Group X classes since Culver is permanently closed. Even just one class to start (TKB or BodyCombat is my preference) Other than that, they’ve done a good job with this new gym. I esp. appreciate the cardio machines set up facing outside. Now it doesn’t feel like you’re running towards a wall when using the treadmill; it feels more spacious and I feel less claustrophobic having a view of the outside world while stuck running in the same spot. So thank you for that. I really hope you take this feedback into consideration.
