This gym over the years has removed features and services. Recently trash and broken/poorly maintained equipment has become the norm. This is not always a pleasant place to workout.

Clean location. No jacuzzi! Very nice showers. Few machines and very crowded. Set up isn't functional. This is not a favorite location. Easy parking location. Pool is outside. Notices that theft is prevalent there. Skip this location if you can!

I wanted to go to 24 hour fitness again because of the free summer membership. It's been several months since I've been there, so I wanted to get back into working out.I asked them if I could just add the free summer membership to my expired account from before, and they said no because I'm basically "cheating" the system. "Oh, what if someone else has a current membership? They can just get free summer membership." This is outrageous! I understand if someone already have a current subscription, but I didn't! I had an expired account for several months by now! I could also just lie and say I never had an account before lol.I feel really disrespected by the staff because of that. I told them that I had an expired account for several months, and they still won't let me get the free summer membership because of that? I wanted to get back into the gym membership. Then, they should tell everyone on their 24 hour membership site that only brand new people can do the summer membership. Screw you guys.I've heard how terrible this place was, and when I used to go to this place, it was crowded a lot, the staff didn't care, and some machines were broken.I went to LA fitness near jamboree and they are way better; they have more modern machines, great equipment, and there's never a broken machine! They fix broken machines very quickly too!

I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years. This place used to be great! Always clean, all the machines working and just immaculate. Now, the restrooms are not functioning and very filthy, a lot of the machines are out of service and the whole gym is not clean (trash and paper towels on the floors). Please hire a cleaning company to clean this place on the daily basis.

I've been going to all kinds of gyms over the years from military to school gyms. Overall this 24 hour location is decently clean. It's 24 hours again, and I only saw like one out of order signs. I was afraid it was gonna be like the other reviews but it wasnt as bad as it made out to be. There is some wipes lying around from people wiping the machines down during the prime time 4PM to 7PM slot. The bathrooms and lockers look decently clean and not different from when I was a 24 member over a decade ago. Things arent super spanking shining new but not old either. Not a bad place after a visit so far. Staff were also professional and friendly.

I’ve had my share of complaints over the years but this is the worst I’ve seen this gym and it seems the only way to get attention is to post about it. As of this weekend there was at least 21 broken machines (pictures attached) and that number continues to grow. Not only are machines broken but things like the sauna are broken multiple times per week, the family lockers are locked all the time, the kids club is permanently closed and not being used for anything, the racquet ball court is permanently closed and closed off for use, the cycle room is constant locked and not usable and the equipment that is usable is falling apart by the day. Apparently corporate doesn’t allocate budget to fix this stuff or just doesn’t care but with rising membership costs, there’s no reason $20 gyms should be out performing one of the top gyms in OC. It’s getting worse by the day and there’s no relief on site. Please give this gym or the management the resources to turn this place around because we’re not even close to getting what we’re paying for.

Clean gym. But fountain valley and Huntington Beach 24 hour locations have already opened up the basketball courts. So Irvine 24 hour, OPEN UP YOUR BASKETBALL COURT SO WE CAN PLAY BALL! I promise doing this alone can prevent another one of your bankruptcies.

This use to be one of the cleanest gyms out there, but in the past 2 years it has gone downhill. It looks like the Gym equipment and sauna hasnt been clean in months. The showers are horrible, always clogged and dirty. Imagine showering and the water doesn't go down the drain so your stuck in a pool of dirty water. You would think that with everything going on with Covid they would be on top of sanitation but instead, being in the front sitting on the counter matters most. Management- please help your employees step up and help this gym out. There are so many things that can be done instead of socializing with each other at the front counter.
