Ok so they make you pay extra for this black card to get the "extra" privileged amenities.. But in the Black Card Lounge area you have to watch the channel that they have on the TV which is music videos with no music that are extra weird.. If this is a lounge set up for the members wouldn't you think that the members would be able to change and watch the channel they want to watch or at least have some volume on the TV to where you could here the music. the lounge area never has anyone sitting there it's a pointless space in the building. The massage Hydro beds and the massage chairs both have the same weird music videos playing with no music and no way to change the channel, and the beds are so loud you can't even hear yourself think and it is not even close to a relaxing or calming environment. These are suppose to be areas where you go to unwind and relax not get your head pounded off by a noisy machine and weird videos... definitely makes me regret getting the black card it feels like a waste of money.. Also the staff doesn't care you try to ask them to do something and they just laugh at you. Very immature group of employees.. it's a shame to this club has a lot of potential. If you're reading these reviews look at how many bad complaints they have on the staff someone needs to go and check this out????

I have been working out with Planet Fitness since May 2017 and had a very good experience. Facilities are safe and clean and equipment works every time. I like the fact that no "trainers" or "coaches" solicit business while you are trying to work out. If I needed help or had a question the staff was extremely responsive and very knowledgeable. I appreciate that Planet Fitness has developed a business model at a very competitive rate for average people to work out.

I love the location, cleanliness, professional staff, being open 24 hours, "spa" amenities, and lockers. My only complaint is that there are no plates and barbells for regular squats and/or bench press. Instead there are a variety of machines (including Smith machines). Some people complain about the rules (no grunting, dropping weights, gallon jugs, etc) but I don't mind. As long as you're not being obnoxious, you won't have a problem.

Outstanding gym. Its very clean, there is a huge selection of equipment and the membership price is awesome. It has much better equipment for serious weightlifting than I had been lead to believe Planet Fitness had. I am very pleased with this gym, and I've been to a lot of gyms over the years.

I really enjoy the atmosphere. People of all shapes and sizes so I'm not self conscious of how I look. It's always super clean. The staff are always friendly. The only complaint I have it that I wish there were more mats to stretch and do floor exercises on.

Just a visitors perspective. Unfortunately i don't live near a planet fitness that would be a convenient drive but i visited this location and WOW WOW WOW i don't know if this location is new or not but this place was clean. Never seen such a clean gym. The women's locker room doesn't have that sweaty musty shower scent like at the gym i go to and that's huge in my book. Well even better the gym itself doesn't have a bad odor. Maybe they have a great vent system or something whatever the case is i wish i was closer to this location so i could join but i just can't see driving 30minutes in the wrong direction just to go here.

I love going to planet fitness. This location has the best employees. They are polite and educated. The only bad thing is they don’t have a sauna! The massage beds make up for it but would be awesome if they added in. Thank you for keeping clean and organized! You guys are amazing!

If you need a good Customer Service, ask for DINA.Keeping up the good work !! She needs a raise.

I haven't been to any other Planet Fitness locations yet, but the one in Irving, Texas is very nice, probably the best gym out of any company I've ever been a member at. To say it's clean would be an understatement. The gym and shower area are immaculate. I have never been to a gym that is kept so tidy, and I really like that. All of the equipment is very well maintained. I've never had any issue or had to move to a different piece of equipment to workout, everything just works. The other patrons are very respectful as well. Everybody wipes down their station after using it. The air conditioning works great. There are like 20 TVs, all on a different channel, to watch while I work out, I love that. The Planet Fitness app is pretty well developed too. I haven't had any issues tracking my workouts or scheduling a time with a personal trainer or joining a workout class. All things considered the Planet Fitness in Irving, Texas just awesome and that's why I'm giving it a perfect 10 out of 10. I definitely recommend it.

Good and new facility. Nice design and has a lot of cable machines that are doubled so you don't have to wait for one machine. The problem with that is it doesn't leave as much room for variety. Showers need some plumbing work too as they have very little pressure.
