As a mom of 3, I can tell you that going anywhere can get hectic and I was very afraid to go with my kids to the gym. I didn't know how the coaches would act, how the fellow crossfitters would feel about all my kids (lol). But Ken, our 9:30am class coach, makes our kids feel very welcomed. The kids want to go to the gym and ask how many days until we go to Crossfit, like all the time. Finding a 2nd home for me came easy here at Missing Link since I joined the unofficial mom class. If you're a mom looking for a really cool gym, workouts that show results if you choose to work really hard, a gym that's treats your kids with respect, then this gym is for you.

The community is one of the best gym communities I’ve been apart of. Super family friendly and connected to one another! The coaches are there for the individual as much as the group and will definitely make sure you get a good workout in!

There literally aren’t enough good things to say about how much i love this gym. I was a nervous wreck when i walked into Missing Link a on a Tuesday evening last year with my husband; I didn’t know a thing about CrossFit and was so scared I’d embarrass myself. Mere saw me and noticed how shook i was and calmed me down, she reassured me that I’d be fine and I’d enjoy the class, she also told me how much CrossFit changed her life. I went through with the free class and went back the next night with my husband’s encouragement to commit to a membership and I’m so glad i did. Everyone at this gym is amazing, i never feel judged or looked down on. The coaches and members are super supportive and offer motivation every step of the way. I’ve never witnessed as much support as i do at the end of a WOD and everyone’s shouting for you to keep going. The 9:30 class i go to is full of bada$$, strong mamas (and their littles) who give their all and let others know they’re doing a great job Casey is super chill and gives good vibes every time, he pushes me when i feel like quitting and never lets me lowball myself. I’ve only been a member for a year and 9 of those months i was pregnant but I’ve gained so much strength and wisdom. The crew also knows i have bad social anxiety and they encourage me to interact with the other classmates and participate in activities outside of the gym that they host for the community. I can’t wait til I’m cleared to workout again because i miss the crew from my 9:30 class. Everyone should give this place a try, I’m sure they’ll all love it. Seriously love you all.

It’s never easy walking into a new gymAnd into a new CrossFit box is even more intimidating. I had been out of the CrossFit environment for about 4 years and had been researching local CrossFit locations. Missing Link is the one I opted for. From the initial communication via Facebook to my first class it was consistently positive and exciting. Can’t say enough about the owners Casey and Mere—so incredibly knowledgeable and so willing to explain things in terms that i can understand. If you are on the fence about CrossFit—jump on over and you will not regret it.

I have been going to this gym for 2+ years with little lifting experience before. I am now at the point where I have added a solid 40 pounds to my squat, 75 pounds to my deadlift and PR'd my bench by 20 pounds; all while fixing the less than ideal technique I started with. I love the classes and environment. Now I am at the point where I have to perfect technique and explosiveness to reach that next PR. I got a technique session with Mere and expressed I had concerns about my explosiveness when lifting and overall my squat. She chose exercises to help target this specifically and helped narrow the focus from every thing I could possibly do to help me be more explosive, to the things that will have the greatest impact and that I can recreate and incorporate into my workout routine. She took the time to ask and make sure that I was comfortable with the movements and even when I had moments where I was struggling with the set-up or technique of a new movement she helped present scaled options to ensure focus on the engagement. She was very positive and encouraging for the whole session and seemed really invested in my overall success even though I signed up for a single session. All in all, Mere is awesome, the gym is awesome, the coaches are awesome and being a part of such fun, fit community that pushes each other for individual success is something I wish I had found earlier.

I came into Missing Link with little to no knowledge about CrossFit, what it entails, and lifting weights. I was a member for about a year and I must say you learn so much. Coache’s Casey, Steven, and Mere are always there to teach you proper form and how to have fun with it. I enjoyed coming to classes. I loved the size of the gym because it makes you feel like family. Definitely recommend.

If you want to join don't bother if you aren't former military. They only want certain people in there. They should advertise that on their website so people know. I was told to replace $320 worth of 'parts' in an email. I am a very unhappy customer. I didn't even get told in person. I spent over a year training here. Bad mouthing old coaches who helped me through my training is extremely rude especially during a class. If the owner was actually at their own gym they would've known there's been broken equipment. The trainer getting inches away from my face while training is uncalled for I am a woman and don't want some random dude in my face like that. I was a mom who came here to help my post partum you all can screw off.

It’s a family. All the coaches are genuinely interested in all of your goals. They are all interested in making sure all individuals are performing exercises with the best form to promote safety. Just day one I was welcomed in with smiles and hellos not only from the coaches. I look forward to all of my classes everyday.

I’ve been a member of Missing Link for a little over a month now and I am so happy with my decision. Classes are motivating and fun. The community is amazing. After taking a break from CrossFit for 8 months, it was hard to come back but I’m steadily improving and finding my way back. But this time better. And here, I have the support to get there. And the owners…you won’t meet many like Mere and Casey. Good people. You’re not just a gym member to them. They make you a friend. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!
