Flambeaux Fit

I had done CrossFit a few years ago and fell really out of shape while I was in grad school. When I moved to the area, I decided I wanted to get back into it, but was beyond nervous to get started (I even left work early so my first class would be during a slow time). Dillon and Missy have been absolutely amazing coaches to me and after almost a year there, I couldn’t imagine working out anywhere else.

This is the gym I've been looking for. I was stuck in a place of redundancy at the gym. I looked forward to the end of the workout instead of looking forward to the workout. I was referred to this gym by another member. Even though I've only been twice, I feel strong, happy, and encouraged that this is going to be the best gym I've ever been a member of. Also, know going here is going to make me the best I can possibly be. On the first workout first day I got nothing but motivation and encouragement from complete strangers. I was challenged. I learned new skills. Even at the end when I thought I couldn't do another movement I just wanted to keep going.I was honestly a little hesitant about the cost, but I'm telling you the membership is worth it. I feel like I got more out of the last two days at the gym than I have in months of redundant lifting on my own at the generic 24hr gyms I've been frequenting.Honestly, I'm not sure why you're still reading this and aren't already on your way to workout at Flambeaux.

I am so grateful for Flambeaux! I had visited several diff CrossFit gyms but didn’t feel like I fit in at any of them. I was missing a connection with the coaches/other members and also was worried about finding a gym that was LGBTQ friendly. Several friends told me about Flambeaux and when I finally checked it out, I knew I was home. I loved walking in and seeing the rainbow/trans flag hanging along with many other flags (like the US flag and Saints flag) because at Flambeaux everyone is welcome. The classes are diverse in race, age, gender, orientation, etc. That was something that was super important to me and I had no clue something that could ever actually exist.I love how knowledgeable all the coaches are, how welcoming and supportive the members are, and how reasonable the price is. I also love how easy it is to scale the workouts so that everyone can make progress on their goals, no matter how long they’ve been working out. For the first time in my life, I feel like an athlete. I never thought I would be able to do most of the things I’m able to do now 7 months in. My first couple weeks I only went 2-3x a week but now I go 4-6x a week. Every workout is challenging but that’s what makes it so rewarding. Flambeaux has made me stronger in every area of my life - not just physically.It really is a family here.

Flambeaux is my home. The coaches and members are my family. I joined Flambeaux to help me become a better Soldier for the Army National Guard, and I’ve far exceeded those expectations. Not only am I better Soldier, I’m a better wife, a better friend, but I am a better SELF. Dillon and Missy have helped me achieve things I never thought was possible.Flambeaux stands out from any other box I’ve been to because members are supportive and accepting.10/10 highly recommend!!

it's month and a half I'm doing crossfit, I'm loving this experience ... they're awesome....

Would recommend this to anyone looking to work hard and see results. Haven't been back yet, but definitely will be. Staff members are awesome ppl.

I do a lot a traveling for work throughout Texas and Oklahoma and I can say without a shadow of a doubt the atmosphere at Flambeaux CrossFit is one of the most encouraging and embracing out there.

Amazing environment!! Very understanding and they sincerely care about you and what your long term goals are. Missy and Dillon are very nice kind owners & coaches. Everyone I have met has been great/friendly!

I’ve never done CrossFit before. Checked out a couple gyms before I was referred to Flambeaux. I dropped in for a class one Friday and fell in love with the gym and people. The coaches and members are like family and the atmosphere is incredible. Would highly recommend to everyone!

Welcoming atmosphere. Very family oriented. I can feel myself getting stronger every week!!
