Love lifting here, but the customer service is absolutely horrible. A guy who worked there tried to tell me my membership was expired in 2016 when I have been going there for three years daily. And wouldn’t let me in. And continued to keep arguing with me. Next day I go to the other golds, they look me up and boom let me right in. Such a joke.

I've got a broken back and I needed access to a pool. The wife and I have been members in other gyms across Kennewick, including TCCC and Kia Ora, according to funding we could secure at various times. Our membership is covered by our Medicare gap insurance, but we came in my way of my parents, when they were members. FULL DISCLOSURE: the director of operations and another member of the staff are church mates, but we like to make a point of greeting all the staff we've come to know. Yes, the gym starts membership with trainer promotions, but we've come to expect that as other local gyms do the same. Classes are on the Les Mills program, which Kia Ora and the Basin Racquet Club also use, and which we are familiar with. Because Gold's is smaller than TCCC, there are no small classes at a mid-day time convenient to us, but I don't have a problem with that, as I usually choose to do my own routine. The classes aren't set at a beginner level (but I've tried only the water ones), yet that is fairly common to many Les Mills offerings everywhere I've been, and all the instructors allow participants to adapt to their own pace. The owner is on the premises often, either to quietly supervise or use the facilities himself. (No shade to your co-owner wife, sir; I'll introduce myself, soon.)I am eagerly awaiting the return of a shake plate machine much like the ones I use at Gale Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab. I asked Adam in Member Services about it a year or two ago. Any updated news?

Terrible experience. All I wanted to know was if they had a punch card versus paying daily. The front desk girl just looked at me and said “Please have a seat, a sales consultant will be with you shortly.” So I left, didn’t want a sales pitch just a place to train. Found a badass gym called Beneath the Bar, cheaper than this dump and with better equipment.

Joined at opening, specifically asking about cancellation fees and was assured there were none if I provided a doctor's letter stating a medical reason impaired me from continuing to safely use their facilities. I provided this a couple of months later when my health took a turn for the worse, and was still sent to collections and later told about a hidden early cancellation for people medically cancelling of $100.00.They were actually caught violating the law of gym cancellations within the first 30-days and forced to comply with it.I have met other people who had similar stories with injuries resulting in the need for early membership cancellation. It's a nice facility, but Gold's Gym only cares about the bottom line, not the members.

Awful experience. My friends pinky broke from playing basketball and asked to see if they had sports tape so can wrap her finger. They only had band aid for first aid kit and offered me a scotch tape! Poor management!!!

Great gym to work out in. I like how clean it is kept. I would give this gym 5 stars if it had more bench press and squat racks.
