The gym is great and provides you with everything you need to live a healthy lifestyle. Everybody from casual lifters to bodybuilders can really utilize and enjoy what this gym has to offer. The bone I really have to pick with Gold's Gym is their financial policy. This whole contract cancellation fee and other hidden fees is just an unethical business practice when put in comparison to other business models. I also recall having had my payment skipped without my knowledge (my fault). I came in two days later and was informed that I had been late on payment. I then had to pay my monthly dues and an extra $20 for being a little late. Having a late payment fine is totally understandable, but having it be more than half my monthly membership for 2 days is pretty outrageous. Gold's gym should update their financial policy so it doesn't blatantly look like a cash grab from its members. It's just distasteful.Luckily, a great Gold's Gym employee recommended that I pay ahead of time so this does not happen in the future. This is only one example of great employee service. The gym and its employees are amazing, the company however needs some tuneups.

Went to work out with husband & his personal trainer. Excellent experience, was easy to adjust the difficulty of exercises to our individual fitness levels & goals.

I like working out there, and I like their pool. The only thing I really can't stand is the noise they call workout music. Also, I find multiple treadmill machines will not work correctly at times.

There was recently an incident with a treadmill doing an unannounced emergency stop while I was walking on it. Because of this I dropped my iPhone X and cracked my screen. I was upset about my phone, but more upset that I could have been running and gotten seriously hurt. It doesn’t help that the Richland and Kennewick locations are notorious for broken treadmills. I spoke with the manager and he apologized and explained there wasn’t anything he could do as far as replacing my phone, but he did waive my membership fee and child care expense for 6 months, which I am grateful for. He also explained what had happened to the treadmill after it had been fixed. I’ve been a regular member since 2010 and it was nice to feel like they cared about keeping me as customer. Thank you Golds!

So if the hot tub is actually working you may want to avoid it. Got some crazy nasty eye infection. Guess this is just normal business for them at the steam room was closed for "Legionnaires" not to long ago.But it doesn't stop there. For your $30+ a month and annual fee you can enjoy the nasty rude staff at the door. Richland location isn't any cleaner but at least their employees are not as rude.Where is the health department. BTW bleach is needed to clean the mold slime off the drinkin fountains

so disappointed at golds gym "new policy". i forgot my gym pass and my ID at home and i try for them to look me up in the system and they tell me they CANT? that they need my ID, really? Even when you have a pic of me in the system? how come you dont need my ID when you take the monthly payment out of my acount? just to make sure you are taking the money out of the right person? and to top it off and the worst part was. i took my daughter to their day care, it was only my daughter and another kid. my daughter started crying because she didnt wanted to stay but i thought she would cry for 2 ins and forget about it, 2 mins later i go check if she still crying and i find this two people who are suppose to be watching them and giving them attention in the computer, not caring that my daughter was crying, not even trying to play with her to at least distract her from crying? super disappointed. i went around 1pm by the way if that helps to anyone reading this review

I really like the staff here, they have always been helpful & respectful to me. They even remembered me after I was gone for quite a long period of time. It feels good when people at a business know who you are personally, it really gives one a sense of importance. The majority of the gym patrons really seem to be there to workout & then be on their way; I really don't like working out in places where the patrons spend the majority of their gym time on their phones or trying to "teach" the female members how to better workout. The fact that they have two short-backed seat benches in the free weight section is really awesome, many gyms don't have two of those. Also, their smoothie bar has a vegan protein option for all those vegan bodybuilders out there. So righteously awesome! This gym is a friendly & familiar place as well as a conducive one.The only con that I really have is that there isn't a designated fundamental strength area & some of the equipment is in need of replacement.Overall, it's a really great place for one to achieve some serious gains.
