I really like the staff it's just the gym that I have issues with. I've been going to this particular Planet Fitness for the past year and there isn't a day that goes by that there isn't something wrong with the equipment or the hydro massage chairs. This was must first visit here. I came because I joined on line, paying for a one years membership and was told I couldn’t work out at another planet fitness because I had only joined this one. 🙄 Keep in mind, all the planet fitnesses are owned by the same company in this area.I let the polite counter person know about my terrible experience at the other location and she recommended I cancel my previous membership and get a refund and then open a new one at her location.Keep in mind, I’m just trying to work out for the first time at a gym I just joined before work and have had to go to two gyms so I could be told to cancel the membership I have and then create a new one. At this point, I realized planet fitness was not going to let me get a work out in before I went to work.I agreed, cancelled the membership and then tried to open a new one. This one required both a credit card and checking account. Keep in mind it’s 2022, I can pay with my phone or watch at most places but planet fitness wants me to have a routing and account number, which I didn’t.I ended up not setting up a new account and left the second planet fitness I had visited that day without working out.This company doesn’t have a plan to provide basic customer service and doesn’t have any way for folks to adjust a membership let alone let us work out.There are better gyms in this area. I found one - 24 fitness - and joined it and worked out the next day without problem.I had heard terrible things about planet fitness and wow were they true. Don’t join this gym.

Front desk, although not everyone don’t have a sense of what customer service is. I’m not expecting a very warm welcome but staff should at least acknowledge you by looking you in the eye and a little smile won’t hurt. I’ve been here several times and most of the staff are rude and always look like they’re having a bad day. I’ve been to more friendly location but this location in particular just let you feel unwelcome. It almost feel like you’re inconveniencing them when you use the amenities. I have several friends who I actually convinced to try this gym and said the same thing. It’s a pattern.

I used to go to this gym a lot never had any problems but last Sunday I came in with my girlfriend, the young lady working the front was playing on her phone until I got her attention she was rude and when I saw she was frustrated, because I assume shes knew, I walked away an let my girlfriend handle the situation then we worked and the next day I was accused of being aggressive and she said she didn't feel safe. That is a very serious allegation to me for I would never be aggressive to a woman let alone a young girl! So I was informed I'm not allowed at that gym anymore, without management even calling my girlfriend who was right there or myself. Just took the word of this knew girl. I have a couple theories why this happened but I'm not sure. DISCRIMINATION is on top! I cannot imagine what I did to do anything to make anyone feel unsafe nor was I remotely aggressive. If anything my girlfriend was, that's her words, but she wasn't. The girl was just frustrated not trained well an taking it out on me. This is the closest gym to my house otherwise I'd let it go but I can't even get anyone reasonable to speak. It's a shame. Fortunately I'm blessed and I can afford to fight for what's right and my attorney I do have a case plus a witness. I hope they come to there senses before it goes to court an a civil suite is filed directly to the employee for lying DISCRIMINATION an defamation of character plus holding planet fitness accountable for the way it was handled

I am a black card member and I have been bringing my guest to many different Planet Fitness branches. We have never had any check in issues. I have been using this gym about 4-5 Sundays and we’ve never had any issues. However a couple of weeks ago we went in on a Sunday as we always do and we had a terrible front desk experience. Seems like there was a guest check in issue with my boyfriend Jeremy Torrence. I discussed the issue with the front desk rep, but somehow they blamed Jeremy for being aggressive towards the rep. This was not the case, I spoke with the rep , Jeremy did not speak. I don’t understand why they kicked him out of all Kent area Planet Fitness branches.I spoke with Planet Fitness regional manager. Apparently, Jeremy leaning on the front desk was aggressive. I don’t understand how is that aggressive?

When I joined, the place was great. It was clean, everything worked and the employees were nice. Well, I'm not sure what's up with the place now. Restroom is a mess, all but one tanning bed works and the attitudes of the employees have soured. Rudeness and indifference. Simple things like changing a light bulb that's been out for over a month making one of the tanning rooms unusable. I guess I see why it's so cheap to join. Hey management, do something about it!

Excellent location that provides a great environment for all who join membership, to engage in themselves in shaping their workouts. Awesome layout from other planet fitness centers. When in kent, stop in and get your body grooving!

I don’t know if all Planet Fitness gyms in Washington state has their showers close with the excuse of COVID. This one in particular don’t have their showers in service. I am a truck driver trying to do some workout at night and not being able to take a shower after get all sweaty. Come on man...!

If you decide to cancel your membership, they make is as difficult as possible so that you will just keep letting them charge you. They are requiring people to go cancel in person at the gym during a pandemic (the fact it's not safe to be there was my reason for cancelling in the first place).

Spoke to Todd regarding my account .. he claimed to be the manager. Very Very Rude and disrespectful. Did not want to help at all. Need to be more professional if at all he is the Manager.Cooprate office should take note of this "manager"
