Since new Assistant GM has come on board I can see and feel a difference in the gym. Things are cleaner, there is more engagement from the staff. I feel really good about what I am seeing. Great improvements.

Lots of machines. Their special offer to get you to join is not working at all. I don't like the moving charges that very by the time of month you join. I hate the sign up process. I went through less to buy a car. You can't just use a credit card? You need a bank checking account and a routing number? Really? For $11 a month I have to go through what feels like a mortgage loan? When all is said and done the place is a nice place to work out. Employees are friendly and helpful. The place is very clean. I like it there but they should reconsider their invasive sign up process and their bazaar system of billing.RESPONSE TO OWNER'S RESPONSE BELOW: Like I said, I will continue to come back, but trying to position the odd practice of REQUIRING a driver's license number, a bank account number and a routing number as a CONVENIENCE for the customer is really a stretch. I believe most people are like me to the degree that it's uncomfortable to hand out all that personal information for what amounts to $11 per month. Thanks for listening. I only hope enough customers who feel the same way express their opinions about the invasive sign up process and make your company see the light and soften the requirements to a a credit card, which will get the job done for you 99.999% of the time. Have a great holiday. And one last thing. You have the best deal around-- you do. You do not need to resort or borderline misleading promotional language. Signing up for a dollar would mean (to most people, I venture to say) that you get your first year's annual fee for a dollar, not that "we'll take a dollar in November, and charge you an annual fee in February. I believe it would only be ethical to disclose, "Sign up for $1 today and not pay an annual fee until Feb." That would be a best practice, in my opinion. For those who read this, I still think Planet Fitness is the best deal around. I just think their administrative and marketing efforts could use some 'massaging.'9-22-2020Another quick update. We decided to cancel our membership. My wife and I are seniors and are still uncomfortable with working out in a gym. In this COVID environment, many of your customers will feel as we do, that it is not yet safe to work out in a gym. I believe you should have given your customers the option to continue membership suspension until such time that it is safe for all to enter gyms. That said, your cancellation policy of being UNABLE to cancel a membership online, by phone or by email is RIDICULOUS. You are required to enter the facility to fill out a form (in person) or send a certified letter to you, which also requires an in person visit to a post office. This is bad customer service. Your cancellation policy is an extension of your ridiculous sign up policy, requiring far too much sensitive ID. Your customers do not need to use your gym equipment. They can get plenty of exercise jumping through your hoops to sign up or cancel.

Love this gym! I feel comfortable going and really getting into my workout. I don't feel feel like a piece of meat here and the staff is willing to help with anything questions I might have. I never thought I'd be a gym rat but this is a great place to workout!!

The staff members are super friendly. I locked my truck keys in my enclosed work trailer by accident and because I was a member One of the staff went out of there way to help me and he saved me time and money. This gym membership pays more than just for itself that’s for sure.

I have been a Planet Fitness member for a year and a half and love it, especially the hydra bed! Most of the staff are very nice but a special shout out to Ivan and Tyler! Ivan is always smiling and eager to help in any way, Tyler is friendly also. It is always clean and machines well cared for. If anyone is looking for an affordable workout place I highly recommend Planet Fitness.

Love coming in with friends. Can't beat the prices or perks of the black card! Clean floor with awesome working staff. Love seeing them enforcing the mask policy with members, makes it feel safe to workout again! Shout out to Paris and Sam for being awesome!

Hand down one of the worse gyms I've been a member at. Not does the manager Megan lie straight to the faces of members. She also practices deception. She will lue about yoyr amount due, when it's due and then when questioned on it. She will blame her employees (which she doesn't train), blame you and flat out olay stupid. If dealing with professional management is your goal, the Kent gym is not the olace to go. Any other location is better than the Kent location.

They consistently dont enforce their "no gymtimidation". Everything there is a sign for, someone is doing. "No gallon water jugs" "no muscle tanks" "no boots or jeans". Daily there is someone not following these. Also...Employees have been late opening, which messes up your whole day if you go to the gym before work.

Please get everything in writing especially if you want to quit. Better yet just don’t join. The equipment isn’t very good or sturdy. I’m not that heavy and I thought the treadmill was going to break. It even said that jogging isn’t recommended on them. What good is that?

Incredibly rude, untrained staff. More specifically the younger females (white lady with brown hair and young African American lady, and the boy with the blonde hair and pierced nose) I have had to give them all my information multiple times because the untrained staff does not know how to update files. Today was the FOURTH time I had to give them all my information and they tried to blame it on the Renton location from where I transferred over 6 months ago. While I was dealing with a nice lady who actually knew what they were doing my fiancee and I overheard the younger African American girl talk under her breath about me. It's unfortunate that you have employees who don't care about their clients
