24 Hour Fitness at Lake Forest offers a comprehensive fitness experience with amenities like an indoor pool, basketball courts, free weights, and various cardio machines. The facility is generally clean, and the equipment is well-maintained, with the added bonus of friendly and helpful staff. Group classes, including body combat, bring a dynamic aspect to the workout regimen.
Despite its many strengths, the gym faces criticism for hygiene in its restrooms and locker rooms, and its equipment arrangement could use improvement. Peak hours can get quite crowded, making it difficult to find available parking and workout stations.

- Unclean restrooms and locker rooms.
- Gets crowded during peak hours.

Would give zero stars if I could. I discussed with the man who signed me up that I STRICTLY wanted zero cancellation fee because I didn’t think I would have my membership for long. Well when I go to cancel I find out I’m stuck in a year contract and to cancel it is 320$. If you would like to get scammed into staying at the gym this is the place for you! Debating throwing my card into the ocean, deactivating it and getting a new one. I wouldn’t recommend this gym.

Been going here for over a year. It's a smaller one, compared to other gyms in the network, and the swimming pool looks and smells like it was last renovated back in the 80s (I'm not the squeamish type but this one got me there.) As with all 24 hours gyms it has 15 always empty treadmills (except for the peak hours) and 1 to 2 of those machines/areas/handles that are consistently taken throughout the whole day (I bet you know which ones.)The only major issue I have with this location is that it has only 3 sets of 12 and 15 lb dumbbells for the whole gym, and they are almost always taken because it's such a common weight for people to use, unlike that whole display rack of ultra high loads. The ratio of benches to bikes in the upstairs balcony area should also let you know that if you are not a beginner and don't have time to work out at 5 am (noon to 3 is also busy-ish) you'll eventually get frustrated with the lack of very simple and cheap equipment all while having to constantly modify your routine because someone is chilling on the machine for couple minutes straight staring at their phone (hey I'm resting between sets and I have two more left.) Here employees are not paid enough to enforce etiquette, but you do pay enough to deserve service. So unless it's the most convenient location, opt out for a less commercial gym. It's not bad, but it's just passable.
