The gym is in need of cleaning. ..i never see machines being wiped down! The shower need repairing. The disabled shower is in Neff of a good disinfecting (the shower curtain) the dial dispenser have too much soap scum. As I workout before work I need to take a shower after working out. ..make sure to bring shower shoes. The bathrooms downstairs ate pretty clean. ..the 1 upstairs is always nasty! The pool stairs need to have the surface made slip resistant! The venting in the pool area is in adequate. .the instructor slways have to open the door to the lobby in order to be able to breathe better! Im also a member of Crunch and compared to the classes that are offered I find myself going to Crunch for a better selection of classes (from Zumba to yoga and Cardio sculpt and ABSolution ) i tend to go to 24 for Hot Hula , zumba and water aerobics. I love the pool...the sauna is sometimes filed with white bubbles, which is said to be bacteria. ..which means it need to be cleaned!

I am a very clean person and take sanitation very seriously. You PAY SO MUCH $ for the membership and you expect the place and the machines are at least decent clean BUT NO. The WALLS, the FLOOR and the MACHINES are so dusty. Stuff are broke and don't get fix for months to year like for example the women's restroom, the stalls and the sinks. Oh....one of the sink FINALLY GOT FIXED AFTER MANY MONTHS BEING BROKE. What really bothers me, what do the management do, sitting their ass. Another thing that was broke are "WOODEN square attached w/glass wall". It looks like people have been sitting on it. It's has been broken for several months now and remain unfixed. The gym Only look good for the first year. That is why I don't refer my people.

Nice gym, but there are some equipments that need to be fix. The hour of cleaning from 1-2:30am is not a good time. Cleaning crews should be men for men lockers room and women for women lockers room. You can't even taking a shower because of the cleaning. Honestly, I think that having a cleaning crew to clean after 2am would be ideal because it given us a chance to take a shower.

I've been to the Lakewood site a few times. I agree it is dirty, shower room is dirty with missing doors, floors, walls and everywhere you look there is just visible dirty. I also agree that the front desk employees are rude and unprofessional. We pay a lot for the membership and should get better service and the people that work for us should know just that. The entire site staff needs to be re-trainned. We need better management. Good professionals manager with higher expectations from their staff. Manager should not accept or be rude to the gym customer that pay their salary. Management should want better I have already visited other gyms and plan on changing gyms next year (2016).

I have been a member since 1988 in Sacramento. I now attend the new Lakewood gym for over 2 years. It was very nice for about the first year. Now I am not so happy. Members are slubs. They leave their weights all over the gym and to lazy to put them back plus gym bags all over the floor. Management and staff do not enforce any of the gym rules. They don't assign staff to patrol the floor to put weights back. I have complained but no response. The locker room is not clean. The showers have white scum and black mold on the walls and around fixtures. Some showers remain broken for weeks or months. I know of other members that have left and gone to another gym franchise. I plan to move to the new gym in Cerritos when in opens in December. I am hoping the management will take more pride in there gym. It seems 24 Hour Fitness has a hard time keeping managers .

This one is bad they are "pushy" to get you to be a member one of them was saying to his co worker 'He won't be back, he can't afford the membership'. That was insulting ,rude and unprofessional

Bad for business, today's experience at the Lakewood 24 hour fitness. As I'm a current member was actually turned away from using the gym. Reason being I had to upgrade paying an additional $15 to my current $34.99 fee or not use the gym had I not been a member I could use a day pass with my fiance and be allowed to using gym. How ridiculous is that, maybe LA Fitness can use a new team member and provide better business service.

The club is new and well looking. The front desk staff, however, especially the females, need to learn customer service skills. I usually in the early morning before work, around 3am to be exact, ajd the graveyard staff is great. They usually dont have towels though... go why am i paying extra for a supersport if i cant even get towels?

I give it a one star nice gym bad customer service. It was my first time checking out the facility I wanted to get a Guest Pass to try it out but I felt harassed they were really pushing me to get a membership that day I wanted to check out the facility it was my first time checking out a 24 hour fitness. Pretty much you can not get a Guest Pass unless you join that same day

The reviews on here are way out of date! This is an all-new facility from the ground up. It is now at the South end of the Lakewood shopping complex, easily accessed from DelAmo. It's very popular clean and busy, tho doesn't feel crowded due to its big size and two floors (with elevator). Classes fill up fast, so you need to show up early to get a spot. Staff is friendly and courteous.
