Signed up for 3 day pass and was denied last minute and had to pay $20 for a day pass, even though my friend who had a membership could have gotten the price down $5, and front lobby worker didn’t even mention that the price could have been $15 instead of $20. Screw you lakewood 24 hour fitness, the other branches are fine. But Lakewood gotta go. Also not to the mention, the equipment is old and broken.

It was great getting back inside the bldg. Had to wait 2 wks. after my vaccine. The bldg. was clean, new staff, new machines, very few members, social distancing, showes available, some classes resumed but, has not opened Jacuzzi, swimming, steamroom and sauna area😣. No time limit on machines. Must wear mask! …

Great gym. Has plenty of space. Nice machines. Bathrooms and locker room can get a bit dirty (along with the wet area). This Is pretty busy during peak hours. Plenty of parkingHighly recommend overall! A-

24 Hour Fitness/Lakewood erected a large outdoor pavilion to allow members to work out outside during the pandemic 🏋🏃‍♀️💪I actually hope they can keep some parts of the workout area outside in the future. …

I started back at this gym the other day...I used to come here often but stopped because it was over crowded and people spent more time on the machines texting instead of working out...got tired of the rudeness....anyhow to my surprise this gym is not crowded any more...probably because there is a lot of wear and tear on the ellipticals and treadmills. U would think the 24 hour corporate would worry about maintaining this gym but it doesnt...I dont blame the staff...their hands r tied...but understand from the paying customers point of view...it should b maintained...we pay for the product..and we expect it to work....don't rip off the customer just to fill the suits pockets....u lose customers the less the pockets will b filled...

Worst gym ever. Stay away. Front lobby workers are negligent and careless about the gym. Also they have a basketball court but they don’t provide any balls. You’re better off going to the one in Cerritos

I love coming to the Lakewood location! The interior is big and I don't feel like i'm awkwardly standing in someone's way unlike other gyms nearby. I mainly come here to meet with my personal trainer, Sal F. He's helped me get back into shape and track my nutrition. He is good at identifying my weaknesses and finding the right workouts to get around my lightheadedness. I recommend Sal as he tailors each session to your body type and progress.

Very aged equipment. Poor maintenance. Running at speed 8 on treadmill and the machine comes to a full stop. Not just one treadmill. Rowing machine broken for months. Reported issues several times. I guess someone seriously needs to get injured before they make a move

The gym has good staff and a good training program. I personally train with Salvador Flores and he is amazing. He cares about you and your health and even what you are going through in your life. He helps you with nutrition and meets all of your needs. I am very happy he is my trainer as he cares so much about his clients😁 …

The Gym is alright, the staff is friendly. I only go for my personal training with Salvador Flores, he’s a wise old soul. He is “worth” more than what I paid for apparently. He is very passionate about his work and knowledge of nutrition and exercise. He has taught me a lot of valuable knowledge about food. It was overwhelming at first changing my lifestyle and being okay with eating healthy. I am now self-aware of what I eat and I have a great relationship with food because of him.Furthermore, even though I have been a difficult client, this guy has been a positive source of encouragement to continue and not give up. The world really needs positive people like him for negative people like most of us. Haha...To Sal,You rock! Don’t ever change.
