Crunch Fitness - League City

I am extremely frustrated with this location. They make it extremely hard to cancel!! I WAS ORIGINALLY TOLD I COULD COME IN PERSON OR EMAIL MY CANCELLATION Request then transferred to someone who said I could only come in person to cancel. I told her that I live an hour a way and haven’t been there in about a year and was told I could also email my request. She then said I could mail it but I work 8-5:30 Monday -Friday and would either have to be late to work or ask off too be able to cancel this membership. She then said she was transferring me to the front desk who would have the email for me. Once I got to the front desk I believe I was speaking with “ Tiffany” who was very rude and has no business being in customer service or unsupervised because she literally had no idea what she was talking about. I had billing questions because I was charged multiple times 50+ dollars in the last month and she said that my last payment was made in person which is concerning because I have not been to crunch in a year! I proceeded to tell her my concerns and she said no managers were there and so I would have to call back in the morning. (All of this with attitude) I told her I work in the morning and would like an email or some other way too contact the manager and she said okay let me look for the paper and put you on hold. Where I waited on hold for about a minute and she hung up on me. I WANT MY MEMBERSHIP CANCELLED.

PLEASE PUT A SIGN on the women’s sauna stating people need to wear headphones to watch videos, music, etc. and for members to take their conversations OUT OF THE SAUNA.Nothing worse than trying to relax and people having full blown phone conversations forcing us all to have to listen to it. Yes this is still loud through headphones.

I have never been so blatantly scammed in my life. What started as an advertised 10 cent sign up fee has ran me $128 in one month. To say this practice is misleading is an understatement. Now Crunch Fitness has started charging my account whenever it suits them. This time they hit my monthly charge two weeks apart causing my account to overdraft. Needless to say I am canceling immediately.

beautiful clean interior. $34.99 plan comes with group classes, spray tanning, tanning beds, massage chairs, sauna, etc. sounds like a good deal!

The Crunch Facility itself is spectacular and I would recommend it to anyone . However , the Assistant General Manager , Shannon Slater , is absolutely the worst person I have ever talked to regarding customer service . I shared some very personal details with her and asked if there was anything she could do , and she treated me like absolute garbage . Her attitude was horrible and she discarded every question that I had without even explaining it . Someone like her should not be in the position that she’s in . She needs to learn to have empathy and patience with people . I am not one to submit reviews like this either , I was jst shocked with how horrible she treats her customers .

If I could give them zero stars, I would! SCAMMERS! It’s impossible to cancel then they go checking for debit cards on the accounts that were “supposedly” ONLY to be use to purchase “in gym items” (what we were told at sign up) to force a membership anyway! Would not give a $64.00 refund for an annual fee even though the membership is cancelled & won’t t be used for the year! SCAM!!! Why should I pay an annual fee for a membership that I just cancelled? I looked on the BBB & hundreds of similar complaints! The lady tried to be sarcastic about the “annual” fee & used an example of a Netflix subscription! 😡 I asked her were the annual fee for the next year, and she said, “yes & no”. I said, well, if I’m cancelling, should I be refunded for the year since I won’t be using it? She was so rude & had some SCAMMER reason why I couldn’t. This is such a SCAM and not right! For the previous years, I paid the annual fee & continue to use for that year, but this year, I’m canceling, so I shouldn’t be charged an annual fee! 😡SCAMMERS!!!

Pretty good facility, nice variety of free weights and machines. The manager Shannon was very friendly and honest when helping me weigh different membership options.Only thing is the Red light therapy and tanning beds seemed to have issues, and the shower area was not as clean as I’d hope. Also hella crowded during the evening.

The facility is always nice and well kept. It is a good gym that’s reasonably priced. However, I want to cancel, so I picked up the phone to do so. When I say I want to cancel, I am asked why and am pressured into not canceling. Which I find ridiculous. Then you have to come in person to cancel. Which I believe is just a last ditch effort to make me stay. Point being, if I want to cancel, I should be allowed to do so. Nobody else’s business as to why I want to cancel.

This gym is amazing. I love that it's 24 hrs and the people are great. There is something for everyone from beginner to expert.

This has been my gym going on 2 years now. I wish broken equipment got fixed quicker, and the gym is pretty packed now all day until very late night unfortunately.
