I wish i could give less than 1star. They have very old equipment and they never change it. Please do not enroll or visit this location. Completely damaged equipment and looks like 50 year old equipments. There are so many reviews from 9 months old with dirty equipment. How long do you need to replace those ?

When I tried to cancel my membership which is month to month, staff gave me a hard time. Paid balance plus late fees to clear my account than they tell me account went to collections after I paid. Wouldn't give my money back.

Half of the equipments are broken. Management doesn’t seem to care about fixing anything. All they care about is increasing membership. The men’s sauna is out of order about once a month and it stays broken for months. Half of the sinks, toilets and EVEN TISSUE DISPENSER are broken and I seen them get fixed even after 3 MONTHS!

This gym is not recommended. All the equipment is very outdated, many are "out of order" and are simply not repaired, especially the equipment in the cardio area. The weights are incomplete and it takes forever to find the right weights. In the showers there is trash lying around, a lot of shower heads are leaking and dripping, everything is pretty loose and dirty there. So for the price really not recommended. The one star is just for the staff as they are very accommodating and friendly.

This Gold’s Gym is usable, but not great by any means. I’ve been going for about five months now, have attended a ton of different gyms and worked at a gym myself. Based on my experience, here’s what I find to be the pros and cons of this gym.Pros:+This gym has a ton of lifting equipment. While peak hours can become crowded, there are so many machines that you will typically be able to find something to do. Whether it lines up with your training goals for the day is another story.+This gym also has a robust cardio section. I have never seen the cardio area fully taken up.+The cleaning staff is thorough. They do great work!+As of the date of this review, 7/19/2022, it seems like they’ve reupholstered some benches and equipment.+Staff is friendly!+There is free two hour parking diagonally to this gym at Lot B. No validation required.Cons:-All the equipment is incredibly run down. This includes machines with broken cables, permanently bent barbells, dumbbells that are so worn that you cannot read what weight they are. There is rust everywhere on the exposed steel, all of which can be hazardous.-In fact, the entire gym is incredibly run down. The flooring is uneven, lifting in some places. In the women’s locker, several lockers are unlockable or broken. There have been several faucets out of order for the entirety of my time here. The ceiling is run down and exposed.-I attend in the evening and I noticed that not a lot of people clean their equipment here.-Much of the equipment is haphazardly placed. It’s clear that this gym received equipment throughout the years and plopped it down wherever there was space. This means there is a glute kickback machine, where you are on all fours, right in front of the stairs, where everyone coming down can watch your glute workout. Consequently, it means a lot of the equipment doesn’t match (although this is not a huge deal).-The lifting area is in the basement, which can be stale or musty to some people. I personally do not find this to be a huge issue, and there are some fans placed along the walls.I’ve visited several Gold’s, and this is probably the most run-down Gold’s out there. There are other gripes I’ve experienced that may or not be a con to you – for example, there are people here bothering me where I’d rather be left alone, and people often hoard weights. Additionally, I can’t speak for cycling or other classes here, which I hear are alright. My recommendation for anyone looking for a gym would be to look at some of the other surrounding gyms, especially new ones opening – Gold’s will be opening a new location in Cerritos soon, and a new LA Fitness is slated to open at Marina Pacifica. However, if this is the closest gym to you or within walking distance, it’s not unusable.

Cancelling my membership after a year. While it was a good cheap gym in the short term, the past couple of months the vibe has just gotten weirder and it’s primarily from the regulars who frequent there. The staff has always been great and accommodating but all good things must come to an end. Wouldn’t recommend this place - other better gyms in the area.

I like this gym. The staff and other members are all pretty cool. The dumbells need to be updated with some of the other equipment as well. Pretty much all of the other locations are up to date but this one and the weekend hours are kind of a bummer in all honesty. You guys should maybe think about staying open until 7 pm at least. 4 pm is too early. Other then that my fiance and I always come in and get a pretty good workout in here.

Very disappointed that after coming for more than 3 years and bringing new people, paying the same every month this gym always have more things that doesn’t work than things that do work. I know the are moving to pike but even though they still charging every month on time.
