Crunch Fitness - Outer Loop, located in the Tymberwood Shopping Center, Louisville, KY, is a 24/7 gym offering a wide range of equipment and fitness classes. This gym has a large space with separate areas for cardio and weight training, with an assortment of dumbbells, barbells, and machines. The staff gets mixed reviews, with some praising their friendliness and others criticizing their unresponsiveness. Not a bad gym at all especially for the price point. Lots of equipment here, although in the platform area it is only bumper plates so thats a bit rough, no heavy heavy lifting as you would have to walk across the gym to get other plates. Nice cardio area on the gyms SECOND floor! Tons of cardio equipment, I am especially a fan of the rowers up there. Wonderful facilities and friendly staff.

They do NOT disclose the $52.99 annual fee. This place is a complete joke. Their personal trainers are horrible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Shady business practices, hidden fees. Machine benches are always oily/dirty. No one cleaning, cleaning supplies are always empty. Locker rooms are foul, and constantly have sticky black stuff on the floor. They require pictures to be taken of you as you come in sometimes. Surprise fees on your monthly bill and annual fee make this place not worth at all. Go to planet fitness.

Lots of great machines, but I can’t get over how dirty it is. The floors are unbelievably filthy… garbage and hair/dust balls everywhere. The bathrooms are gross and look like they haven’t been cleaned in months. Very disappointing, especially considering the short time it’s been open.

"Cancel anytime" is not accurate. They make you pay for 2 months and an extra annual fee, 2 months in. I signed up for $1 but quickly figured out I did not have time, and this mistake has cost me over $100. Never again.

Went for the free trial. This gym is huge and well built. Lots of weights and variety of equipment/weights. Unlike Planet fitness, there are heavier dumbbells, barbells that past 60 lbs, and actual deadlift and bench press areas. And from observation, this location is the most diverse population-wise, compared to the other Crunch locations.Still debating whether to join or not because…- not 24 hours. It closes at 9pm on weekends, and 11pm on weekdays.-dirty, and not enough disinfectant bottles, like only 5 for the whole building . And honestly, I questioning if it is just water inside them-dumbbells in wrong place-Recommendation for management:- gym should put larger labels on the dumbbell racks for where each dumbbell should go;- make the gym open late on weekends too; to compete with Planet Fitness, I'd say 24/7 or at least till midnight.-turn down the music a bit.- Add more benches and disinfectant bottles around the gym.- Either hire janitors or (2) Divide the gym into sections on an iPad; Every hour, have employees disinfect a certain section (ex: 1 pm-first row of treadmills, 2pm- second row treadmills, 3 pm-bench press area)-Turn down the music.-if there is wifi, put the password somewhere clearly visible.

The gym has great equipment and friendly staff, but it is VERY dirty. Garbage cans over flowing. Locker room/ bathroom pretty nasty.

I originally gave 5 stars when they opened, I hate writing bad reviews, but staff seems indifferent when I address these things in person...Edited April 1st to 3 stars: After being open a few weeks, this place is looking filty. Paper towel dispensers empty, sanitizer bottles empty, soap in men's room empty, floors of the gym space are littered with dirty wipes and candy wrappers, whatever people are just throwing down. The men's room floor is disgusting, and the urinals are looking nasty. Dumbbell racks are completely unorganized, and plates are lying around wherever. Seems like plenty of staff but mismanaged I guess 🤷 The facility is nice, but it's not being maintained very well...
