Shameful! This is the assessment of this academy. In March I canceled my Black plan (23$) for single (10$) but because it was close to the payment date, the Black plan was paid in March without my opposition... Ok! In April again they charged the Black plan to my bank account and I explained and complained to the employees who said they would solve it... Nothing was returned! To complete the lack of consideration for the customer, in May an amount of $12.88 was charged outside the usual payment date and an unknown amount as it should have been $10 for the simple plan. And to finish in the same month of May on the correct day, the monthly fee was charged even though I had already complained about the undue charges.All this happened and month by month I talked and complained on several occasions explaining and questioning the employees who took notes and said that they would pass the information on to the superintendent for the due refunds, but it never happened. I note here that even with the help of someone or a Google translator, I was always understood by the employees who opened the billing page and saw the errors.Finally, after a lot of insistence, I received a call from the superintendent who wanted me to explain my complaints one more time, but due to the difficulty in understanding the English I'm still working on, he told me to prepare (with a translator) and return to call at another time. I tried to help my son but he soon hung up.In other words: Everything was already clear and explained repeatedly to employees, but to no avail. Academies in large percentages attended by immigrants; but despite this there is no concern for the employees to speak only English, in addition they are not affiliated with any help and translation center... But that is not the complaint; it was all very clear! They just thought it wasn't important to resolve it.Finally it wasn't a matter of high value due to me... On the contrary, small value... But mine! But improper!I asked for a cancellation and left Planet fitness... There was no respect and consideration. Make good use of the 25 dollars not returned.

Pleasantly surprised by this Planet Fitness. I have been to many gyms over the years, including PF, and I have always found them to be incredibly dirty. All floor workouts were done next to so many dust bunnies.... the Malden PF is quite clean and tidy. The bathroom could use a little extra attention, but it is still better than other places in the area. The staff are okay, so overly helpful but present.It is a chill, no frills gym and I enjoy it.

I called Malden Planet Fitness to cancel my membership due to COVID-19 (still don’t feel safe enough to be at the gym) and had the unpleasant over the phone encounter with Christina who not only did not wanted to cancel my membership but also was RUDE and hang up the phone on me after reluctantly doing it so.Also I was charged an annual fee of $39,90 even though the place has been only open for the last...... 3 weeks?????Definitely not coming back to PF anymore

I’ve been working out for about a year now at a different gym in Malden and most recently started at Planet Fitness with my fiancé. We are always welcomed with a greeting and smile from Christina at the desk! She is an absolute sweetheart. With my past unpleasant member service at other gyms- I’m happy I found this one! Sunday, July 12, 2020 I decided to go to the planet fitness in Malden. The sign says please wear your mask, but most people inside were working out without mask on. Yes, they added space between the machines, but I was not feeling safe with everyone with their mask off. They coughed without the mask. If they cant go by the rules, WHY DO THEY COME AND MAKE PEOPLE FEEL U SAFE?????

Theres always a machine that's broken but it doesn't really stop you from having a good workout. Only 3 stars because I've needto other planet fitness' with way better updated machines. This location just needs a good update. It literally looks like what planet fitness used to look like when it first opened.

Machines need to be updated. I have seen them get cleaner than the last 6 months. Showers and sink needs to be changed. I prefer to go to Medford, Revere, or Downtown PF when I can. Better equipment and even more clean. I hope they invest in upgrading soon the malden gym.

Needs cleaning and maintenance. But for $10, it is a good place to workout.

Decent gym, showers and locker room could be a bit cleaner though.

Apparently they don’t use the heat in this place. It’s 19 degrees outside and 48 degrees inside this gym. People have been complaining to management for weeks that it’s freezing in here.
