24 Hour Fitness

Currently a PlanetFitness member. Used the 3 day pass to check this gym out and here are some of my observations:- Parking is covered, which is nice when it rains- Staff was friendly- Gym floor is big with a large variety of equipments- Equipments are old. In some of them you cannot even see the weight numbers. Some of the shake as you use them.- You can even see equipments cushions with tape to cover holesI was execited at the beginning, but after checking the floor I got dissapointed on how old this gym looks. I currently pay $10 per month at PlanetFitness, and even though I have a smaller variety of equipments, they are new, staff is constantly cleaning the areas and picking up weights. Whenever something breaks it gets fixed within a week.I will consider this gym again in a few years and if it gets a major upgrade.

SHOCKINGLY awful. Arrived this morning at 6:20a to sign-up for a membership and work out at this facility for the first time. Found about 10 people standing outside looking very unhappy and few others walking back to their cars looking equally unhappy. The gym staff had not arrived to open the facility at 5a as they were supposed to - that means for a whole hour and 20 mins this place has been upsetting members at this point. Conversations between those standing outside made it clear this was a regular occurrence. There was one Cleaning Crew employee there, she was AMAZING at helping to keep people patient as she tried contacting someone for help - she deserves kudos, as I'm sure it was not her responsibility to deal with this mess. She handles it super well. So apparently, someone gives the ok to let everyone in through a back door that remains unlocked all the time. We all walk in through this back door and into the gym to work out, no check in occurs. Mind you, I have no membership and I'm now allowed into the gym to work out as I please - no liability forms filled out. I look around to see if I should wait for someone to help me sign up whenever they finally arrive and omgoodness is this place soooooooooo dirty. Weights everywhere, chalk all over the floor by the squat racks, things all out of place, and ugh, total disaster. It was such a turn-off. We did ask a couple of members there about their experience as we waited just in case this was a really bad day and not the norm but all of us told us that things are super bad like this always and two people told us the only reason they're still there is because they have some kind of special membership where they only pay $10 a month or something. Definitely do not recommend it. It is a 2 min drive from my home and I was really hoping to sign up today but we ended up checking out some other facilities nearby and there are better options fortunately. I really hope someone who can make a difference reads this and takes some action. It's embarrassing that this hot mess express is part of our community - smack in the middle of our town center. This does nothing to represent Miramar.

This 24 Hour Fitness is very poorly managed and maintained. The ladies' bathroom is very often filthy. Sometimes there are empty water and juice bottles left in the Sauna.Seeing the state of the locker room and Sauna makes me think that the equipment is also not being cleaned on a regular basis either.There is a Wednesday morning Yoga class on the Gym's schedule but the teacher has not shown up for weeks. Some of the former students in the class have repeatedly reported this to whatever staff is at the front desk. None of them ever has any information on the status of the class and always say they will inform the Manager. New students are showing up hoping to take a Yoga class only to be disappointed. The last time I was there a few days ago, one of the individuals at the Front desk said that a new Manager would be starting soon. If this is true, perhaps things will turn around at this Gym. I will stop going to this 24 Hour Fitness for the time being.

It's called "24 hour fitness " that's the whole concept of the gym. We aren't in a pandemic anymore make it 24 again

Overall, it's a great gym. Sauna is my favorite. I do wish they would fix the quads machine by the bikes, though! 😁 …

24 fitness opens from 5 to 11. 18 fitness instead

Gym is an absolute mess. Was here for a few days for work, and found this gym closest to my hotel. Got a 3 day pass while in town. Dumbbells are scattered around the gym, never put back by gym members or even staff. Came at night and than the next morning and still a mess. Just seems like no one cares about cleaning up the place. Will definitely find somewhere else to go next time I'm in town.

The gym has foul odors, the manager needs to get his Act together. The place is dirty, there are no paper towels, garbage cans are full. Garbage All Over the Floors

HORRIBLE. I try to use the computers there to make a 3 days pass. The girl with the red hair that works front desk, raises her voice and yells that I’m not allowed to touch the computers. Sure, alright. As i wait some time for my gym partner, I’m then questioned by the two front desks workers why I haven’t done my 3 day pass yet. ??? Pardon ? You yelled at me saying I couldn’t touch the computers ??? They ask for license, which I provide. And THEY STILL CONTINUE TO INTERROGATE ME AS TO WHY I HAVENT MADE THE PASS. They take my license, then claim I cannot get it back because it’s policy to not return licenses until I’m done with my work out. I proceed to ask for a manager, as they give an attitude and try to justify themselves. This place sucks. I don’t understand how they want people to pay to workout there when that’s how you treat potential customers ?

This gym is total trash now, I see why 24 hour fitness is on the decline. Don’t believe me? Just ask any instructor, they’re mistreated too.The staff here is rude and unhelpful, but I see where there get it from - the manager Kevin is even worse. Please save your money and workout somewhere else, there’s tons of better quality gyms in the area. Unfortunately I had to learn the hard way
