The folks at the front desk may not know our name immediately, but they know our faces. They are always friendly, encouraging, and conversational. The locker rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Equipment seems to always be available no matter when we go. Love this place!

This Gym is Awesome, it's my first week and I feel in confidence to do any exercise. But the staff needs organization, and keeps a order with the paperwork of every costumer; I'm trying to get some help with a "own fitness program" but they just let it pass..Its like "oh okay man. Thanks for Not help me"😒

Great atmosphere and staff. I love the shower room set up and the music too. Last but not least....they have TNT most planet fitness gyms don't.

Cleaning the restroom needs to be brought to attention. I went last week, Thursday night at 7 pm. Out of the 4 restroom stalls available: one was shooting water up out of it; one had a "out of order sign", another was dirty, and the last one would have been cleaned except there was water all over the floor and toilet. This is unacceptable. I have never been to a facility so dirty.

Went to the one in smyrna with a friend after work (3am), there were a few people there. Machines worked fine, bathrooms have shower stalls, also has a weight scale. The only inconvenience is the rate but it's alot better than other gym memberships. I would join this gym and recommend it.

They skip out on their equipment which is a huge downer for me. how are you going to go from 30lb -55lbs-95lbs? its not like this company cant afford to buy a proper weight set. be careful of their contracts they have fees that are directly stated and you find out when it hits your bank account. This gym is great for people who are just now getting into fitness as it is reasonably priced but you get what you pay for. i now go to golds gym and i am happy i switched.

It has the same problems as most gyms: people who don't wipe down the equipment after use, people just sitting on the machines using their phones instead of working out, and people who are only there to socialize. The reasons for my 3 star rating are: 1) I stared at the same dirt pile for 2 visits. 2) People not utilizing the Circuit area properly. I mentioned this to an employee and was told "The gym is free range. Anyone can use whatever machine they want." I don't understand why it's okay for someone who is not doing the circuit to interrupt someone who is. 3) People with basic memberships are using the Black Card facilities. I noticed employees hardly ever asked for my Black Card, when I used the Black Card Only area. But I really didn't give it much thought until a basic member told me she uses the Black Card area. It really made me think... Why am I paying twice the price? Apparently, every part of the gym is free range.Lastly, I did not discuss all the issues with staff because of the brush-off I got from the one time I did. If you can overlook a few items, then you will be happy here. They do have plenty of treadmills and ellipticals. Also, they offer free training advice and classes.

This club is always pleasant to exercise in, the staff is super-friendly and helpful, and (most importantly to me) the locker rooms are clean and not intimidating. There are plenty of machines & weights to use and they are in good, working shape. I really enjoy using Planet Fitness Smyrna.

I have opened a membership about a month ago, and I canceled it before my month is completed. I went there two to three times and realized that this gym is the dirtiest gym I’ve ever seen!!! Bathrooms are dirty can’t even breathe! The machines are dirty all germs. The trainer wasn’t that smart didn’t have good plans. I asked him once about how to use a machine the way he answered my question I could barley hear him! Plus I had the black card which is the trainer should be no cost for me. Overall I will never go back to this dirty gym I better not get sick instead of being skinny Lol zero out of ten. And last thing! The customer service staff should be trained about how to talk to their customers 👎

I really don't see why this gym gets a bad rep. I understand it's a little different than other gyns but the rules are fair to those who feel uncomfortable in traditional gym environments. I do enjoy seeing heavier people trying to change their lifestyles everyday. The only negative opinion I have on this place is the free weights section is too small. Other than that I've been able to make gains there and I've lost 2 inches off my waist in a month. They facility is so clean and new feeling and has excellent upkeep. The staff is friendly and prompt when the cleaning supplies are empty and they are notified about it. Handicap accessible and altogether a great place for anyone to go who is new or intermediate in the fitness world.
