I really feel liked I am getting rob left to right on my training, and I do love it here but someone other than staff needs to review my payment for personal training.I am trying to understand my bank statements and these paid training😏 so one payment of $363 in March3 and another discount payment of $176.01 in March 29 and I'm now in two times a month for my sessions. I don't understand how I'm not still getting 4 times for the $363 payment for this month 🙅‍♀️ this don't add up so until someone review my record this will be a two-star

I loved Edge fitness clubs while I was living close to one. Just a heads up if you are a college student.. I have been trying for weeks to cancel my membership because I moved back home after graduating. The edge clubs require proof that you are moving which I was able to provide but their third party company they hired for billing will not cancel my membership for me. I provided several pieces of personal information including my license and car insurance papers with my home address (which is in another state) to prove that I do not live near my gym anymore but they will not accept it. I am still going through the cancellation process. Good luck.

The Edge is a budget box gym that has multiple locations around the NE. This location has two cardio sections, one upstairs and one downstairs. The downstairs has a little bit if everything, stairs, elliptical machines, treadmills, bikes, and a single row machine. Upstairs has a line if treadmills, a few stair machines, couple bikes, and a single rower. The weight room is filled with all the basics you would expect from a gym. The free weights section has three racks, four flat benches, and a row of benches for dumbbell/free weight work. The good: the gym is very clean, the staff are very nice, and the refreshment area is very tasty. Locker rooms are clean with nice lockers and showers. Movie room is cool, but occasionally there is issues with the sound. The bad: the gym is very busy, at all times. The free weight section is always crowded and you may need to weight in line for your sets. The racks are very nice with new platforms, but like the rest of the section you will wait to use them. All and all, it's a nice budget gym. It's crowded at times but not too bad that you can't get your workout in.

**THEY THREATENED TO TAKE ME TO COLLECTIONS AS A SCAM TO GET ME TO REJOIN THE GYMI went to this gym in Hamden CT in 2013 and it was great. However, now in 2021 the first email they sent me to get me to come back was a threat that if I had any balance on my account (I did not) they would send the bill to collections and hurt my credit score. This was followed by an offer to waive any previous balances if I signed back up. Now, I get tons of emails from someone named Anthony Kalogrides trying to get me to come back.I have moved so am not looking for a gym in CT- but the threat of the first email about collections would make me never sign an agreement with this gym again.

Miguel and Raphael were very insightful and great listeners helping me pick my membership. I was lucky to get paired with Sean Connor and have had great experiences. Not only is he fantastic at designing the right progressive workouts, he has great nutrition and flexibility stretching knowledge. Shelly the manager is extremely helpful. Great staff!

I have been a member of the Hamden Edge since the day their doors opened. Joining this gym has been the best decision I've ever made. i have a personal trainer that knows me, pushes me to my limits and supports my goals. (Thank you Ryan) I am always greeted with a smile by the front desk ( Jess and Taneshia especially!) the group classes are amazing and always offer something new and different to keep me on my toes. I feel encouraged and supported while there and that is important when you are trying new things outside your comfort zone. The shakes are delicious. The daycare is awesome. 5 stars all day long!

The Edge in Hamden is the absolute best gym I've been too. Accommodating to everyone! The staff is very friendly and professional! The equipment is excellent....the club is clean and well maintained. I recommend this gym to everyone at any fitness level.. One of the lead trainers in the club (Brian Woodford) is very knowledgeable in training and nutrition...Better than 5 stars!!!!

I would recommend this gym to anyone going. Everytime I arrive I male sure to look around to notice the wonderful faces of the many staff members available to us. Kailey is indefinitely my favorite staff member of the whole facility. Her warm smile and jovial attitude just adds to the great feeling of being able to lift in the morning. The equipment is great and shake bar is delicious. Although the music is sometimes not conducive to the exercise environment -we should probably suggest songs made after 2004- the wooden finish the lights and the tile floor makes me feel among the elite privileged to workout in such large and well designed and well staffed facility. So would I recommend this gym to anyone willing to change their lives to live a healthy one? Absolutely.

I have been in and out of the gym for years never able to stay motivated to make it a lifestyle. I was recommended to come meet Brian and I'm so glad I did. We have been working together since February and with his knowledge and guidance I'm in the best shape I've been since high school and can't imagine not having him as part of my weekly routine. By far the best trainer ever... I highly recommend him

I've gone to a few other gyms and the Edge beats them by far. It has better equipment than Crunch, a better atmosphere than LA, and a better size and location than Retro. The Edge also has great trainers. I worked with Dan who showed me a lot of exercises I wouldn't have thought of or wanted to try on my own.
