The combination of cardiovascular with body weight training is everything. In addition, I'm a competitive person, the splst points give me a gage to push myself beyond what I had done previously as well as what I see my fellow OTers doing.

I have really been enjoying orange theory fitness. I'm always on the edge of being in great shape but my lack of motivation by myself in the gym slows my progress. I believe I can really get into the best shape of my life at Orange Theory.

Orange Theory NOLA by far has the friendliest most helpful staff ever! I'm new to the NOLA area and was recommended this gym. The trainers are just so compelling and motivating! They keep me coming back!

My focus sport is RUNNING and using the vehicle of ORANGE THEORY, I have exceeded my expectations in improvements with my running. Previously, I did runner specific exercises and regular weight training along with my short, medium and long distance runs. While I was logging as much as 100+ miles in a month and hitting my gym 3 days a week I seemed to be in a flat plateau...No matter how I changed up the gym routines or twerked my run days I was locked in to a pace range that I could not really break through. Then OTF in DEC 2015...6 FREE trial classes in 2 weeks...And my 1st race of 2016 was a 9K which I hit a PR dropping over 8 1/2 min from my 2015 time ! I was HOOKED and super excited that I had found the platform that would push me beyond that plateau ! Now January 2017 o er 1yr in and 83 classes taken in 2016...I have PR's in every distance up to the HALF MARATHON...Which I can say is now at a 2 hr 08 min time....DOWN FROM 2 hr 28 min...For a 20 min reduction !! THANKS ORANGE THEORY FITNESS ! I LOVE our coaches & staff at OTFnola MidCity...#champions #SPLATdat !!

This is the first bad review that I have ever given! I scheduled a class 2 days before for an 8:00AM class. The morning of the appointment, at 7:37, I was on my way to the class when an employee called me saying that if I wasn't there by 7:40 that I couldn't take the class. She said I should have been called the day before to be told that I needed to arrive 30 minutes early for my first class. When I explained that I didn't get the call, she said she was there when they made the calls yesterday, as if I was lieing! As I drove to the class, I tried to convince the girl to allow me to attend since it was the only time I could catch a workout that day. I pulled into the parking lot at 7:42 and the employee said I could not take the class because she had a 7:40 cut off time to explain the equipment. I asked her if she could make an exception since I was 2 minutes late and I didn't get the call. Again, she said I had to have received the call, as if I was a lier. I rechecked my phone to see if I missed the call, and I didn't. Terrible customer service and I will not return.

I like that the workout is hard, but not so difficult that it can't be finished. The motivation that the coach gives is helpful. I also love that I can see my "stats" on the screen while I'm working out. It motivates me to push myself.

I love the variation and intensity of the workouts, all the trainers are GREAT and motivating and play great music. Orangetheory has a very friendly atmosphere. It is like having a group workout with a personal trainer.

I love OTF and the workout is amazing. Many members are and have cancelled their memberships because of the owner. She treats her staff and the coaches very poorly. It's a shame to watch a business with such a great concept be hurt by an owner who only cares about the bottom line. She shows no concern for the customers and her staff. OTF should find a way to make owners more accountable for how their actions affect customers and staff. Its continues to get worse and worse.

I am a fan of OTF because each class is different from the last. The instructors are very motivating and make you want to challenge yourself to reach your personal goals. The 60 minute workouts are tough, but the end results are amazing!

If you would have asked me this question last year I would have given OTF a 5 star review but lately things seem to be going south there and fast. They have a great format and plan but Managers and Owners seem to be having a hard time implementing them. Clients create a bond with Coaches and vise versa which makes it easier for the trainers to help the client’s specific needs. This was the case at this studio but lately the employee turnover is so fast and frequent that this isn’t the case anymore. New Coaches seem lost and without proper training and guidance and the senior coaches left trying to compensate. The diversity of the members has also gone from great to not so much anymore. This is because many clients have left their memberships due to lack of diversified coaches. Three stars is the best I can give until management can make their adjustments.
