The window sills are covered in dust and some people just sit at machines and do nothing, treadmills are in need of repairs overall it would be a good place if the machines were fixed quickly.

I've been working out there on a regular basis. I look forward to going there and appreciate the greeting by the staff. A nice clean affordable gym.

I took one class here, it was good, but large. I think I like smaller classes. The gym is very industrial and did not like the escalator. Defeats the health purpose. Felt it was lil dirty too.

Don't joinDon't go inDon't consider this business!Because that's what it is ......not a gym.Over charge your card can't get a refundCan't cancel membership with out going to port Chester Monday - FridaySo disappointed in their policy's I am going out of my way to stop this scam.Internet is a tool and am going to dedicate my use of it to get my $10 $10 $50 charges that I never wanted to be charged for a introductory Holiday Ten Dollar membership.Doing the right thing is a choice and Crunch Fitness sucks at it !Sincerely ripped off consumer!

Update: Kudos to the Port Chester Crunch manager for contacting me to ask about my concerns with the gym. We discussed a few things that need improvement. It wll be intersting to see if there are any improvements in the near future. Stay tuned.Classic case of you-get-what-you-pay-for. It's inexpensive, but not the best value for a variety of reasons. Plenty of treadmills and ellipticals, but not nearly enough upright bikes. Free weight area is frequently very overcrowded in the evenings. Has weak wifi that you have to log into every time you go to the gym and sometimes login fails for no apparent reason. Too much of the equipment is poorly maintained. The covers on the benches have been fraying apart for months. Machine's squeak and work poorly for lack of proper maintenance. The filters in the water fountains go unchanged for days at a time. Complaints to the management have not resulted in significant change. You can get by working out here, but don't expect too much from the staff and management

Low priced gym, plenty of parking, equipment has slowly disappeared instead of being replaced or repaired since they've opened. Locker rooms are mostly clean, I've seen worse like the Crunch in White Plains which had showers that didn't drain properly. It doesn't get too busy in the mornings so it makes a great pre-work gym. The evenings like most gyms gets very crowded with the after work crew. Cardio equipment is hard to come by around 6pm during the week. Overall not bad.

Gym is ok but they dont have classes specially in the morning. The one in Norwalk Ct have classes at 5:30 a.m so I dont why they dont have it in here when there's a lot of people working out at 5:00 a.m. Management should look into this.

This Crunch location is a franchise location. I was able to easily register online; however, when I went to cancel my membership, I was not able to discontinue my membership online or via phone. The only way to end your membership is to go into the physical gym and request to cancel it or to send a letter through certified mail. This prevents those who are no longer in the region from easily canceling the membership. Your only option is to write a letter, go to the post office, and send it through certified mail. This is a deliberate tactic to keep busy people from ending the membership, which allows the franchise to receive passive revenue. After calling both Crunch headquarters and the franchise main office, I was told my credit card would continue being charged, even if I stated over the phone or email that I wanted to cancel my membership. In my opinion, if the organization accepts new members via phone/online, then one should be able to cancel membership in the same fashion.

My experience with Crunch Port Chester was terrible. The manager (George) and staff gave me a very difficult time as well as misleading information when it came to placing my policy on hold (since I will be away for the next few months). The manager was rude, blamed me (the customer), and defended his employees rather than find mutual ground and come to a reasonable solution. Further, at no point did he apologize for his employees providing misleading information thus resulting in me paying for an extra month of gym membership, despite notifying them I will be away. The basic principles behind Management 101 teaches a potential manager to analyze the information provided by the customer and draw a conclusion based on this information. The manager in this case did the complete opposite and treated me as if I was never a “paying customer.” He did not let me finish explaining my situation and became highly defensive, rather than trying to help me. Managing a gym with a national brand requires an individual not only with fitness training experience but with a background in business and customer relations. In summary, the staff at this location are incompetent when it comes to company policy. Majority of the employees seem like recent high school graduates with no understanding of professionalism or any idea of how a business is expected to treat a customer. Further, they do not have any knowledge of the company's policies. This specific location needs to hire better personnel and do a better job screening potential employees. Typically, this stems from management.I am very disappointed by the negative treatment from the management and employees at this location. I do not recommend this location to anyone.

Joined this gym a few months ago and I love it. I have been a member at LA, Planet and Edge all before and Crunch is best pricing and service I have found. The gym is never packed so equipment is always available. The classes are great and they have so many at all different times of the day. Zumba lacks energy however. The place is always clean and the staff are always friendly. Parking is never an issue. A great gym for anyone starting out or already advanced.
