Huge overcrowding problem. Equinox needs to either charge a premium of be more prescriptive about who comes to this location or the experience will suffer. Can’t get a locker in the locker room - and can’t get a seat at the pool without a 5 hour wait.Amazing physical property, hope Equinox figures out how to make this place a great place to work out in again.

Way too many people and not enough space or equipment. Trainers take up large amounts of floor space and multiple pieces of equipment. Usually can’t get in half of what I have planned. Great views and amenities. Staff is nice.

Used to be a member in nyc and london. I send them an email regarding PT session during my stay. You can't get them unless you buy the 12 month membership even if I am only staying for a week... They even told me to go to crunch or another club...That's some weird customer service.

I've been going to Equinox HY for about two years now. I've had no complaints that entire span of time. I had a personal trainer, Josiah, for about 8 months and he was phenomenal. I haven't been an avid class taker, but I did yoga a few times and those were great! All in all, Equinox HY has been a great gym and very convenient for me since I live nearby. I recently moved to a new apartment which has a much more convenient gym underneath the building, so I will likely leave Equinox HY, but I will miss it!

Is this one of the better gyms in the city? AbsolutelyDoes it have super sexy vibes and a breathtaking view? YepAre you missing out if you can’t get in for whatever reason? Not reallyFeel the main draw here is the view.. and exclusivity. In terms of facility, at least during summer, there are no barrel saunas out.. didn’t see the cold plunge eitherIf you’re from LA or Miami.. and have been to nice gyms or other Equinoxes, the outdoor area with a pool isn’t gonna be a ‘panty dropper’ It’s cool but not earth shatteringThe floor area is solid but again.. not ‘omg this is the best gym in the world’ vibes. For eg, no hack squatGREAT facility but also not the best thing since sliced bread

It’s just ok. The amenities are inconsistent. Jacuzzi is usually around 100 degrees which isn’t hot enough. The barrel saunas are maybe 90 degrees and don’t allow you to work up a sweat. The hot water in the men’s locker room is hit or miss. You get locked out of your own locker 25% of the time because people forget which locker is theirs, so the staff has to manually open them which resets your code. The pool is practically useless unless you get there at 9am because it’s overrun with people. I think any long term member of Equinox would expect more and be let down by this one. On a positive note, it looks nice for those who like to post on instagram.

Great club, even by Equinox’s high standards. Everything is clean (including the locker room floors), staff are welcoming and helpful, trainers look like fitness magazine cover models (and are very knowledgeable and motivating). If there’s a downside, it’s the few elitist better-than-god members who think life only revolves around them…but that’s the exception thankfully.

This was a terrible experience , they lied about when they’d charge my card to get me to sign up. The customer service desk will ignore u when u directly ask for help. I have been working on canceling due to relocation happening and they can’t even tell me exactly what they need nor read the email properly that I’m canceling and I need to know what documents they need from me.

I rarely feel the need to leave one star reviews but two months after touring I felt inclined to.Issue one: You will feel like you're in a high pressure sale the ENTIRE TIME. My pressured sales guy was Bryan. While touring I explained to Bryan that I was in NY for a few days apartment hunting and interviewing. I wasn't 100% sure of my move to NY which I vocalized several times and he disregarded that and still was trying to sign me up day of the tour. He followed up with me via phone call and I had to explain to him again that I don't even have an apartment yet.Issue two: I was blatantly lied to by Bryan. I toured this location on Jan 28th and was told the prices were going up by the end of the month so starting Feb 1st the prices that I was quoted will be higher. As of April 18th the prices are exactly the same. (I will adjust this review if this is inaccurate by any means). I believe this was an even higher pressured sales tactic, exactly like an end of the month sales push to make quota. But again don't lie to make a sale.Issue three: This location was PACKED when touring. It also allows for hotel guests to use this location. This was something that was later explained to me by an equinox member.Issue four: If you look at pictures online in regards to "member space" specifically the work station area, I felt like the photo's used made the place look bigger than it really was. I work hybrid and I was considering this location to possible get some work and emails if needed but it seems like you will have to get lucky with seats.Towards the end of the tour I asked if I was able to stay in the lounge area for about 10 minutes to quickly respond to emails. Bryan told me no and that I had to go downstairs. Not the best look for a potential client. But I was obviously allowed to use the lounge at first while waiting for the sales rep.All in all: It's an equinox gym but at almost $400 a month this location is more of a status symbol than anything else.

First, I would like to say the front desk and personal trainer staff are extremely professional and top notch. They are the only reason I’m giving this gym two stars. This gym is overly crowded with pretentious and insufferable narcissists, who act as if they lacked attention from their parents.
