Nice gym that has everything you need from free weights to machines to cardio and TRX. Tommy was particularly helpful with membership services and went above and beyond in the customer service department.

I’ve been a member of NYSC since 4 years now and it was doing really well when John was the manager. Now there’s this new manager who is so distracted, irresponsible and unattentive and do not fulfill her duties at all. She’s always on her phone and doesn’t pay attention to anything at all. I remember I bought up last time that there were no “ paper towels or tissues “ in the restroom and she didn’t even listen because she was on her phone. What about the work ethics? I don’t know who hired her. But since John left it’s been really bad here because of her poor management and carelessness. Well she never even replies when people greet her while entering and leaving the gym. I’m thinking of ending my membership soon and switching to some other better gym.

Excellent staff that are very helpful but the gym, needs a lot of new equipment. I'm sure it was awesome when they bought those Naitilus machines in the 1990s.

Warning to any digital nomads - they advertise a basic month-to-month type plan with no surprises. I called asking about it and was told just pay for the remaining of the current month prorated and a simple $69.95 all further months I want to use it, cancel with 2 days notice, simple, no other fees.Nope, like many gyms there's all sorts of extra fees. An initiation fee. An annual fee, even if you use it one month.Long story short, I was told I'd have to pay $189 to use the gym for 56 days. Did a guest workout and it's a decent enough gym and not a *bad* deal considering the location, but I hate being told one thing on the phone then given all sorts of shifty math in person.

Convenient gym in the neighborhood, the bathrooms are not well maintained.

This location has been fraudulently claiming to close at 10pm on their website and on Google for several months now. So you are aware, they moved to close at 9pm Mon-Thurs last year and has no intention of moving back to 10pm anytime soon.

So sad they closed their Murray Hill location. I loved this place! Used to knock my boot camp classes on my lunch break, felt amazing. Great staff!
