Takes your workout to another level not only because of the famous galloping but also by fostering team spirit during your class.

The best workout I’ve ever had, the hardest too! I wish I lived in NYC!

Always a great workout. Locker rooms and showers are clean.

Incredibly hard and a great shock to your body. My first time I thought I was going to leave midway. So glad they pushed me to go until the end. I’ve been there about 9x ever since! Definitely do a 101 class first. If there are less people, the warm up will be quicker. It was Monday evening when I went so there was barely 6 people my first time.

Really liked the class I took here. The place didn't seem very sanitary though - change rooms were gross and showers were yikes. There's a cold jacuzzi in the change room which is cool. The stretching area is really weird - looks like a waiting room for a doctor's office with some foam rollers sprinkled about. I'd come here for the class and go shower/stretch elsewhere.

This workout reminded me of my rugby practices in college but without the tackling. Hard af. But also enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and did a good job working with folks’ various fitness levels in the intro class, adding more weights to sleds for people who seemed to be having too easy of a time with it, modifying workouts for a woman who had a wrist injury, etc.I think working in things like relay races and partner workouts could be cool for their whole “teamwork” theme. Could make 2 teams compete w sprint of sorts, and the winning team assigns the losing team a (reasonable) punishment to do (more burpees anyone?).Also, as someone who has spent a decent amount of time on turf before, it’s worth noting this was high quality stuff. I didn’t get any turf burn despite collapsing onto my knees several times during those slider-crawl thingies.I’ll prob only hit this place up every once in a while as a treat/torture since it is a bit pricey, but anyone looking for a fun new fitness challenge should deff give this a shot!

As advertised, one of (if not the) hardest workout on New York and comes with a somewhat cultish following, in a good way. I've been going semi-regularly for 3.5 years and it's made a significant improvement in my fitness. I see it playing soccer in performance and reduced injuries. Highly recommended.

BRUTAL. CHALLENGING. GRATIFYING.You win, I’ll be back.Listen... I am in good shape and there is nothing I can’t do fitness wise if I set my mind and train. I’ve done bootcamps, barre, solid core, and I love spartan Races. I always love and welcome a challenge. BUT Today?? My Mind was TESTED. The last 15mnts? I didn’t think I could finish. (And I paced myself!) there are no “EASY ONES” in here. Every single exercise is made to push you physically and mentally.I wanted a challenge and man did they deliver! Coach Shaun was amazing and everyone in class was super encouraging! By the end I was shaking...

I was in NYC for a few days and took my first Tone House class. I took the regular Friday conditioning class. It was brutal and I thoroughly got my butt kicked but enjoyed every minute of it (in hindsight). Very tough class. An atmosphere like no other gym class. Coach Alex was intense and motivating and the other people in the class were very friendly. I would go here all the time if I still lived in NYC. Definitely going back next time I visit NYC.

By far the hardest workout in all of NYC. The coaches are amazing and motivating... by far an unparalleled workout experience in this city full of boutique studios. The team approach was great, although at times, as a newbie I felt bad for holding the rest of the team back. Grateful to have had my butt kicked. Thanks Tone House Best Workout in nYC
