I would not recommend giving your money to a place that implements policies from tyrants, while all they can say is "I'm just doing my job" we all know where that leads. Quit with the masks and let the people be free.

My review is not for the gym itself but more for the Customer service I got this morning. So I called to see if I needed an appointment to go in and check out the place and some guy answered my call. His name was Dre, Andre, Drake not sure cause he was talking like he was mumbling and sounded super uninterested. So first off he calls me ma'am which is nice but I'm asking him a question and he straight up hung up on me mid sentence. He sounded like he was over the call when he first picked up. I was super offended that someone would do this! How rude! I'm sorry you hate your job, Dre or Andre whatever your name is, but that is not how you treat Customers! Management needs to talk to the people and let them know they are representing an international brand and anything other than trying your best is mediocre. Do better 24 hour fitness!

This gym is located to the left of Macy's directly across from McDonald's. Staff is friendly. Fully stocked beverage fridge. Cardio is downstairs. Weights and machines are upstairs. The upstairs layout is a bit interesting. At the top of the stairs, there is the entrance to the studio which can lead to a long line blocking the stairwell when there is a class that is about to start. If you look to the right behind you, there is 2 adjustable arm Life Motion cable machines side by side located in front of a mirror with a row of dumbbells. Directly in front of the stairwell are only 3 powerlifting stations which are taken up quite quickly and the football field. The upstairs is a long and somewhat narrow format which then opens up towards the end where the bench presses, Smith machine and other chest/back equipment is located. One thing I appreciate and is most noticeable about this gym is the amount of hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray bottles and paper towels this facility provided. They had a station at each major workout area that contained 3 tiered baskets that carried all the essentials which encouraged patrons to comply and wipe down machines and be safe. This gym is noticeably hotter than most gyms since the lifting area is on the top surrounded by windows with the blinds open but it's better than having a gym that's like a jail cell. No comment in regards to the bathrooms as I did not use them. Parking is shared with the mall and the parking lot of the first 2 rows are under construction but there is still plenty. Do not expect to have your car in the shade unless you are willing to walk. I only deducted the 1 star simply because of the long narrow layout and the lack of powerlifting stations (in comparison, Mountain View California Ave have 4, San Mateo Boven, Redwood City and Sunnyvale have 6, San Carlos and Fremont Auto Mall have 2). Otherwise, it is the cleanest gym and people appear to respect the equipment.

I wanted to cancel my 24 Hr fitness monthly membership and I tried doing it online but the website doesn't have the option. The only way to cancel is by calling them and requesting them to do it. When I called I was told they had put a request to cancel it. I followed up next day to ensure it's cancelled and they assured me it's canceled. But then I was charged the next month for membership plus annual fee. I called them to check on this and I was told my membership is not canceled and there was no request put in to cancel it. The manager asked me the customer service person details whom I had spoken to for membership cancellation to prove myself that I called them. I said how would I remember a random customer service person details. Since i was unable to answer I was told refund will not be processed. This company has put me in a situation where I cannot cancel the membership myself nor their agents/ managers help to do it.This is definitely the new low standard of customer service I had experienced in USA! Fix your staff, processes and policies.

Men's locker room and upstairs bathrooms are usually filthy. Sinks in the locker room are often clogged. I saw more cleaning by a janitor before the pandemic than I do now, which is concerning.A lot of the equipment is usually misplaced and/or scattered. I've never seen any staff members even try to tidy things up a bit. Seems like they hang out at the front desk area and really do nothing with regards to keeping the place clean.I've been going here for about 3 years. Everytime it rains, the roof leaks and their fix is to put buckets on the floor to catch the dripping water. This place is filthy and needs better managementThis gym is a far cry from the 24 Hr fitness I go to in Folsom.
