One year ago I bought a trial membership for myself and my daughter. Soon I realized that I cannot attend it and after one month came back to cancel. At the reception I was assured that the best option would be a suspension, there wouldn’t be a problem – the cost would be $30 per month for 6 months, after that the membership will end automatically. Also, I requested my child membership to be ceased outright. Unfortunately my English is far from perfect and I had not realized that the management would manipulate that: I was not given anything in writing. I have been travelling out of the country a lot since then. In July, while abroad I found out that in June the club automatically reactivated my membership without revoking my daughter’s and charged us for 3 full monthly fees. Upon return, I went to the club with my husband to figure out what’s going on. We were shown the original monthly contract, while the manager was trying to insist that this was a termed binding agreement. Our request to see the membership freeze and removal of the child elicited a flat refusal and doubts about my English proficiency. We were told that the child membership had been cancelled and the child fee was not being charged, that was not true – my card was being charged fees for adult+child membership.Certainly, it’s my fault that I did not insist on all copies and haven’t been checking my credit card carefully, nevertheless I’d like emphasize the completely unacceptable attitude on behalf of the club management, public admonition about my inadequate English and deliberate misleading of clients about the membership conditions.

$20 gym experience at a $400 price. The kids academy is a brawl, the showers are cold more often than not, no one ever answers the phone and the app is woefully inaccurate with regard to hours and classes. The actual building has nice spaces in the locker rooms and studios. Some of the Cafe employees are really exceptional. But not the 'diamond premier' experience I was hoping for, especially with no pool.

Wonderful club. I’ve been to 6 Lifetimes around the country, even Lifetime Sky in NYC, and this one is by far the best. Great free weight section (8 squat racks), large lockers, sauna and steam room are huge selling points for me.They also have an extreme amount of classes. Multiple daily yoga classes of various types are another big selling point for me.The membership is a bit pricey, but the value is amazing.

The most upscale gym ever

Nice and new, with plenty of finishing left to do. Is it worth the monthly....nice Queenax....needs some poly-reselite mats for safety.

It's over my expectations that a gym can be offered. Love it every time when I am there.

This gym has everything, and it's cheaper than equinox. They even have an under 30 monthly rate, and you can do contract or no contract.

I moved from equinox and was not disappointed...a wide variety of well maintained machines. Spacious areas devoted to cardio, lifting, and calisthenics...and a locker room that's in a league of its own.

Absolutely spectacular in all that it does. Weights and machines are plentiful and well-maintained, pools and spas are sparkling clean, and lockers are never scarce. LTF is a shining example of what a proper health club should be. The cost also deters those who aren't serious about working out.

Over the past few years I've been to literally hundreds of gyms across the country and this is probably the best one I've ever seen. I pulled into the garage and was immediately offered complimentary valet parking by a very friendly staff member that anticipated any questions that I had. A glass elevator takes you up to the expansive and luxurious atrium where they have all the equipment you could possibly need. Everything is brand new and the layout makes complete sense. This gym could easily accommodate someone just looking for a casual workout, or an olympic level lifter. It would take all day for me to list out the wide variety of unique and cutting edge equipment that this facility offers. The mens locker room and sauna area looks like a spa at a 5-star resort. This club has 3 times the amenities of other high end sports clubs like Equinox, but at a fraction of the cost. (Also they're open 24/7, which is very hard to find around Boston) So far the staff has been extremely courteous. I'm hoping they open up a location downtown Boston - it would put every other gym out of business.
