Crunch Fitness - Summerville

Tried it today for the first time after switching away from Pivotal Fitness. Very impressed right away. Excellent equipment and very nice staff. Everything is clean and the lighting is great as well. Most important are the prices! You simply can’t beat them. I’ll certainly be making the switch when my contract with Pivotal ends. I might even doing it sooner!

It was good while it lasted, but they do not know how to own up to their mistakes when it comes to a membership. I told them I am in college and most likely not coming back, and they said just in case you do we are going to freeze. I asked will I get charged they said no. I get a call from debt collectors saying I missed a payment from December to March ($164). I told them about the miss understanding and they told me there is no proof. How is there no proof when I have not scanned in since September. The gym is nice, but Bold fitness has a nice gym too

Best thing that ever happened to me since my wife and children. The place is very clean and the equipment appears well maintained. Didn't go with the trainer right off the bat but maybe soon. I met with Riley who was awesome. I think he knew more about my body than I did. Everyone is very helpful especially Miss Worcester as I call her. I'm terrible with names but she knows who she is. They are always willing to help teach you any of the machines whether you're just a member or have a trainer. I truly believe they do not want to see anyone get hurt. Thanks for the motivation some days we all need it

Very impressed with this gym. I felt comfortable from the minute I walked in. They have everything you'd need. Weight benches, cardo machines and my favorite, an entire functional fitness area. I've been to the other big name gyms and have never felt more at home.I was most impressed after speaking with the head trainer Kat during the free initial session. We spent the entire time discussing my goals, evaluating my current fitness and laying out a plan for the future.I'd recommend Crunch Fitness to any athlete from beginner to experienced.

It was our 1st visit to this gym but we have either worked or been members of numerous other gyms. The staff was great, they greeted us and bid us farewell. We requested a 3 day trial pass. Sign up was a simple process on a tablet. Personal information was kept to a minimal: no address, income, etc. was required. They let us explore on our own. There was no sales pitch whatsoever. (Loved this!)The trainer at the desk answered our question and was friendly. The gym was exceptionally clean and tidy. The bathrooms were very clean, all papertowel and spray bottles on the floor were stocked, and all hand sanitizer dispensers were working. We had fun playing in the functional fitness/HITT area using barbells, monkey bars, tire flips, kb, wall balls, the sled, and handstand walks on the open turf area. I felt like a kid on a playground. We were very pleased with our visit and will be back again.

Great equipment, friendly staff, awesome trainers and classes. Very affordable memberships offered and the amenities are excellent. Highly recommend this gym, the best compared to other local gyms.

We had our fitness assessment with Kat Knect. While we initially didn't intend to sign up with a personal trainer, we (my wife and I) were very impressed by her knowledge level, her passion for helping people, and how easy we were able to relate to her.She took what have could have easily been an intimidating experience and made it not only comfortable (emotionally anyway😀) but fun.I highly recommend stopping by and talking to Kat whether you are just getting started or are a beginner like us or an experienced athlete.

Large facility! Something for everyone! The staff are professional and polite. They are willing to help out. The variety of classes is great when you want to get a workout in and don't want to think about it. The instructors are very nice, professional and help in any way they can to help you achieve your goals. The equipment is state of the art with plenty of free weights, machines and cardio equipment. They even have a place to stash your kiddos so you can get some work in. They have staff to look over them ;). Check it out! Plus, redlight, tanning and massage available.

Good variety of cardio equipment. Athletic section is amazing. Machines are high quality. The only things that would make this gym better would be to put 2 spray bottles instead of 1 on top of the paper towel dispensers so that you don’t have to wait for the spray bottles. Overall, best gym in the area for the money.

In looking for a gym, I wanted somewhere close to home with generous hours and safe on-site childcare (this last factor being the most important). Crunch checks all those boxes--lots of different equipment and classes, they're open late during the week, and their childcare area is really nice. The staff at the desk recognize us when we come in, they greet my kids (which they love), and it's clear the staff working with the kids are happy to be there. For the convenient location and knowing my kids are safe and happy while I get my workout in, the price can't be beat!
