Crunch Fitness - Summerville

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS GYM. IT SEEMS TO BE IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL.Being a military spouse, I had to cancel my membership before moving to Guam. I went into the club and signed my cancelation. I was informed that I would be charged one more month due to when I canceled (this was in March).I was then charged $30 again in May… I disputed the charge and called the club and they said I would be refunded. Then again I was charged in June… disputed. Then again in JULY, THEN NOW IN AUGUST.I have a 15 hour time difference here in Guam making this even more inconvenient.The unprofessionalism of cancelation and the SCAM of charging me over $120 dollars is ridiculous. Do not sign up for this gym!

Great classes. The instructors genuinley care! I recently was pregnant and was not going to the gym for 6-7 months due to complications. I came back and all of the instructors (Kelly, and lauren) have asked me where I have been. They encouraged me and have been very supportive. I appreciate this gym so much and Having fun at the gym is always a plus!

I love it here i can be myself and get away from the outside for a few hours. It’s a good environment and very lively some times. Seeing other people grind and meet their goals is amazing.

My first time coming here as a guest I found no issues with the staff and genuinely enjoyed my experience. The next day I came back as a guest and was denied entry due to the fact that I am not 18. Im literally 17. There’s no point in turning away the youth who will boost your cliental.

Best gym ever! Very friendly staff , they make you feel like home.

Shows it’s supposed to be open but isn’t. Facebook/website hours don’t reflect actual hours. I guess their workers show up when they want to.

They will not cancel my account and keep charging it. I’ve done everything necessary to cancel it. I’ve called, emailed, and sent out letters. I have gotten a lawyer

Gym was much smaller than expected. Everything seem crowded together with no separation. The padded area for stretching was occupied by people doing exercises so you are unable to stretch before exercising. There was only 1 of each weight machine and they were in poor shape. I will continue with my planet fitness membership

The assistant manager asked for my guest’s name. I responded and she started asking sign up questions all over again because “he wasn’t in the system.” I gave her all the info again and she started acting like I was being deceitful and asked the same question four times as if to try and catch me in a lie. Turns out, she spelled his name wrong. The other employee pulled him right up. He was in the system. I should have been on my way. Then, with the entire gym available for her to walk around, she stayed next to me. Suddenly, two male bodybuilders just happened to show up and she met them RIGHT NEXT to me, as if to try and intimidate me. The two male bodybuilders hovered around me and followed me to two different stations. It’s not a coincidence that the assistant manager needed to stand next to me until the two guys showed up. It’s not a coincidence that she was “sweeping” next to the row machine that I was using. It’s not a coincidence that we had an issue and all of a sudden two men are standing next to her (next to me) staring me down and sizing me up. Next time, I’m swinging a barbell at someone’s head. I have never seen or been a part of such a blatant act of intimidation from a manager who was wrong from the word “hello.”

Over crowded have to wait hours to use the equipment. If you have a regiment, we're you change up machines during reps it won't happen there. Save your money buy tour own equipment like me and wait no more.
