I called to cancel my membership because I am moving to Spain with my fiance who is in the military and I was told I had to mail a certified letter or come in. My flight to another country literally leaves in two days. I do not have time to go in and cancel or go to the post office and get certified mail. This is crazy.

You know you are getting into a sticky situation when you have to sign 18 pages to contract that they dont even show you while youre signing it. you only have a pin pad to initial. Good luck getting out of it, it was harder than my divorce. The front desk is clueless on your account, will tell you one thing which isnt true, keep charging you, then tell you no refunds.

Would be five stars, but the music selection is the worst. Who wants to work out to Spanish or ghetto/rap music. Gym music should be light rock/ rock music. Not saying heavy metal, but something conducive to the type of business. If I go to a Mexican restaurant, I would expect to hear mexican music. A Chinese restaurant, Chinese music, a dance club, rap music etc. Management should be more in tune with this and tell their staff that the music selected by the front desk needs to be for the gym environment and not their personal taste.

It's the best gym in the area best bang for buck greatstaff great equipment you can literally either powerlift bodybuild or do CrossFit in the same gym. You want to do a full body they got everything you need. If one dumbbells section too crowded they got one of the other side of the entire gym.

Not alot of stations for squats and deadlifts. The time I was there I had to wait about an hour to get a squat platform. Staff wasnt very helpful. My first time in there and didnt even really get even a parial tour of the place. Pretty much had to figure out stuff on my own

I joined Crunch Before I started a new job And got the $30 membership cause I figured I'd be there a while, the new job and allow me to make it to the gym as much as I desired so after the 1st month I tried to cancel, But of course in the fine print somewhere it requires a minimum 2 month membership, and within 60 days you get charged a $50 annual fee on top of your regular gym membership which is hidden somewhere in the fine print, And also you can start your membership online but you have to go to the gym in person or send in a signed letter to cancel your membership To take longer so they can get that 1 more charge out of you.

Just like any other gym, there are peak times (usually after working hours) when everyone and their mother is there and it's difficult to find a bench or weight machine that you need to use. There's no real remedy to this issue other than using free weights & modify the exercise(s) you were going to perform.I've had a membership since summer of '21 and in this time frame only 2 machines have been broken. The machines were out of order for a few weeks, no big deal. There are other workouts that can be done using free weights or similar machines.Recently, I have noticed ppl taking over multiple machines and equipment at once plus having yoga mats in the way because they're making their own circuit. I find this a tad disrespectful to other patrons who also pay for the gym and/or personal training such as myself. They need staff members walking the floor periodically to make sure ppl aren't using yoga mats by the weight machines/in the weight area. They also need more ppl at the front desk.Last year around 7pm a few times i found a young teenaged MAN cleaning the WOMEN'S locker room bathroom stalls, which would be ok had there been sign up saying it was being cleaned. The one time I walked in behind him and he did not make his presence known. I haven't seen him in a few months, so hopefully he was fired or told not to go into the women's side.Gale is the BEST personal trainer! <3

Usually not a bad gym but I found out today that the management and the executive team are all from New York so it's not a local business it's not locally owned it's not even really locally operated. The New Yorkers decided to shut the gym down at 8:00 p.m. due to the so-called frozen roads. The ground temperature is still above freezing the ambient Air temperature is between 32 and 35° in most of Goose Creek ladson and Somerville. The only real reason this is such an issue is because we called before we headed to the gym and we called yesterday to see whether or not they would be closing early. Both yesterday and today I was assured that they would not be closing early.Instead we all got kicked out of the gym because some New Yorkers think that the roads in Charleston South Carolina where our average year round temperature is over 70° Fahrenheit are frozen over and that no one's going to be able to get home safe from the gym.

If I could rate with zero stars, I would. I have been trying to have my membership cancelled since Nov/Dec 2021. My debit card is still being debited for charged fees - in spite of multiple emails, visits, and phone calls. Staff continues to make excuses and claim that the one person who can handle the situation, the general manager, is not there.

Signed up for a private trainer for 6 months in April. I asked to have my sessions put on hold when I found out I was pregnant because I'm high-risk for preterm labor. They refused and said I had to continue to pay for the service until the end of the contract even though I couldn't use, hold, or transfer my sessions. I couldn't (and still can't) get in touch with the man over the program. My contract ended months ago and I'm still being charged!!!!! I get the run-around every time I reach out to them and I can't go to the actual gym because I'm on doctor-ordered bedrest.
