Update after they… did something? 100lb weights off the rack and kettle bells still everywhere. I spend more time cleaning up to work out than actually working out.Oh yea and waited at the juice bar well before close for minutes. Went to the front to ask about it and went back and waited some more and nothing….About to cancel. I consider all of this a breach of contract and will start documenting my experiences.LVAC used to be 5 stars all the way around in my opinion. Now I have to clean up after apparently grown adults just to be able to work out. Team room is always a mess, weights never put back, paper towels, water bottles and equipment thrown everywhere.Heavy weights obviously purposefully put up in dangerous manners, hanging off a rack or on too small of an area high up.Not to mention the juice bar closes too early on weekends even though it’s plenty busy, they’re turning people away constantly, and there are employees behind the counter just standing around after they’re “closed” so…

My experience with LVAC is mixed. In the end, I have decided to quit them.Paid off the remainder of my contract and canceled auto-renew.The good aspects here are FAR OUTWEIGHED by the negative. Employees are the challenge. Otherwise it's a nice facilityAt your own risk. The 1 🌟 reviews are an accurate warning, by my own year and a half here.Attending this location has been an emotionally damaging experience for me. I have 7 months... will I attend... IDK, maybe.I can NOT recommend

The building is huge but the actual equipment is so cramped. They have all these private rooms dedicated to members who have higher packages and they even have a room just for women which I think is unfair. The women have access to all gym equipment and even an extra private room where men are excluded. Even when men make up the majority of the population attending the gym. Equipment is decent but for the size of the building you think there would be more. 3 squat racks for the entire gym floor. No deadlifting platform. No bumper plates & barely any clips for the benches or squat racks. I personally do not like this gym at all but it is right across the street from my home and saves me a 20 min drive to my normal gym when I feel like getting a workout in

This is my favorite gym they have a lot of classes and I love the ladies side. And The sauna is amazing!! This gym is perfect because it doesn’t have a stinky smell of sweat. And it’s 24hrs and they also have Sanitize stations for you to clean off your equipment. Also they offer a lot of coupons for there members. And the juice bar is great as well when your done working out!!

First they do not respond to customer service emails. You have to keep calling until someone answers the phone. Second they are asking members who no longer feel comfortable going to the gym during the pandemic to pay 75% of their contract to cancel. They will allow you to downgrade but you have to sign a new agreement starting your contract time over again. When we signed up we were told we could change our membership level at any time. We were never informed we would have to start the contract all over again. This gym was not very clean before the pandemic. There were bugs in the wet areas of the gym and the womens workout area was often out of paper towels. Why would I believe that it would be safe to be there now? My first month at this gym the personal trainer I worked with gave me Influenza A. I can see very easily how I could catch Covid 19 at this place. You should be ashamed of yourselves taking advantage of this situation and asking for so much money just to cancel. You should allow customers to downgrade but keep the same length of contact. That at least would be somewhat fair. Also why delete honest reviews because they are negative? Work fairly with your customers and you will find most people are reasonable.Wanted to update my review to add that they finally started allowing people to pause the membership but you had to call every month to do so. It took me 3 days to get someone to answer my call the first month I tried, so we decided to downgrade our membership and pay in full to get out from under them. We have never been back since. A business that treats their customers so terribly during a crisis doesn't deserve our business. Do better.

Same clowns they've always been since their owners left LA Fitness to start this abomination years ago. Their gyms were closed, and rightfully so, during the pandemic. My family relocated out of the area and provided them our change of address documentation that we moved to Reno. Once the gym reopened they tried billing us again, and I asked them to stop. They agreed, but then earlier this year sent one of my family members to collections saying we didn't fulfill the contract. The contract clearly has a relocation clause that we legally exercised. They were desperate for $ during the pandemic, just like all their peers, and this is how they run their "business" and will continue to do so.

I come up here all the time the staff are usually extremely friendly. I am a Platinum member African American I’ve been coming to lvac for two years and today at this location I asked for a towel which is complementary with my membership and was asked for my id. I saw two people infront of me ask for towels without having to give up there I’d. a young Caucasian guy with a orange hoodie told me I had to leave my id which I thought was weird when I saw him give two people towels with no issue. I guess I’m just not use to experiencing racism in the 20th century.

Once my membership contract is up I'm leaving. They charged me for 2 memberships for 1 whole year!Their playroom is always at their limit so appt are difficult to get.Their app doesn't work! So scheduling playroom or classes is a hassle.

Needs to lose a few ab machines, maybe even cardio machines, and get more squat racks. It’s great how big this place is and the amount of equipment they have, but crazy that they have only 3 squat racks. The racks and free weight benches are practically always 100% occupied, especially during peak hours, while half of the other isolation machines and cardio equipment are not even touched. There could be much better use of the space.

They lied to me about this new room they call the training room they said it’ll be open same time as the gym so I get it added to my membership but I can only go really early in the morning like 1 or 2 is about the time I go and it turns out they close the room so I can’t use so I try to go and get my membership changed because they lied to me and they wanted to try to charge me a downgrading fee and the cost of that new membership I asked why I would have to pay that when it was your employee that lied to me and I was told they can’t help me with that. I definitely wouldn’t have gotten the room added on to my membership if I wasn’t gonna be able to use it but Matt the one who did my contract lied to me and said it is open the same time as the gym that they don’t close it. Honestly it’s a good gym just terrible service(Update) they still haven’t done anything honestly probably gonna start looking for a new gym I definitely shouldn’t be charged for wanting to downgrade my membership because their employee lied to me about the gym
