This is a GREAT gym! The instructors were welcoming, friendly, and extremely knowledable. The environment was fun, clean, and welcoming. I would recommend this gym for someone just starting or a seasoned veteran. Thanks Clay and Rueben for a great class.

I was very nervous to start coming here but the people that train here are very friendly and welcoming and so is Clay. I have no experience with anything like this and they all treat me like I'm apart of the family. They are all willing to help teach you and help keep you motivated. This place is a lot of fun and it is very addicting I highly recommend this to everyone.

it’s the best expriance I get to share with my son we get to bond in a different way. we both enjoy this place and the people here, we looks forward to training everyday. Everyone is motivating and encouraging the coaches are great with the kids I love how kid friendly the environment is. I’m really glad I joined!

Awesome place for kids and adults. My kids love. Its A great workout and keeps then in shape!!! The whole faculty are assume at what they do. Thank you too all the coaches for the time you spend with all the kids.Can't wait to try it out myself!!

My wife and I moved back to the Basin in January of this year. We previously had trained with the instructor Clay Hantz at multiple locations. We knew we had a home at Vagabond when we moved back. Our first day at the gym we were greeted with a sincere welcome. All the students have been humble & respectful which I believe stems from the culture Mr. Hantz has cultivated. I cannot recommend this place more to children & adults. If you are on the fence about giving this place a try, I hope this post points you in the right direction.

I've been training at Vagabond for the last few months. It's been great training. The instructors are great. Professor Clay is an excellent instructor and he promotes a good training atmosphere. My kids have been training at Vagabond for the last month and they love class, and have a lot of fun.

Excellent place to train hands-down!With Coach Ruben and his team have a lot of talent.. nice friendly Environment and great repetitive Techniques. Not like some gyms I go to where the upper belts just sit back while The technique is taught.Coach Ruben we’ll go to each group and correct any imperfections.All in all great place to Train! I work in the oil/gas business and found myself working in the Midland/Odessa area last year for several months. Having been a BJJ practitioner for many years, I knew I was going to find a place to train and had heard great things about Clay and Vagabond.Clay is a very knowledgeable and passionate professor with immense attention to detail and takes the time to get to know his students.Knowing that I was in town for work, he was very accommodating regarding membership contracts and payments and even worked with me on some privates to fine tune my game.I can't think of a better coach in the area to learn from.

My 7 year old son has been attending classes for about 8 months. The coaches are excellent! I feel like they truly know what they are doing and are able to demonstrate and teach each skill effectively to all age groups! There are always multiple coaches in every kids class to ensure the safety of the students! I feel that everyone on staff at Vagabond truly has the best interest of these kiddos in mind! I have seen my son grow tremendously over the past 8 months and I don't think it would have happened without everyone at Vagabond!!!

Huge shout out to the owner of this establishment Professor Clay Hantz for being such an amazing Coach and inspiration to me and my kiddos! I've said it before and I'll say it again, THANK YOU Coach Clay for teaching ME the value and virtue of being silent, how to sit on the "sideline" and just watch, no yelling, no "coaching", no critiquing, just silence! Many things have come of this but most important has been making Cruz, my son, a COACHABLE kid, student and athlete! At the age of 5 he is now able to focus, learn and understand things that are being taught and asked of him at home, at school, at jiu-jitsu and at practices/games for other sports he participates in, and for this I thank you! "Look at my face and listen to my voice... listen to my face", Cruz's favorite quote from you, he uses it often lol. Thank you for making the sacrifice and being there for your students day in and day out, even on Father's Day, you are a blessing! Have a blessed day!
