I have trained at numerous Jiu Jitsu schools around the country and was really impressed to find such a high class gym here in Odessa Tx. The head instructor is excellent at breaking down and explaining technique for beginners or experienced practitioners. The atmosphere is very friendly and non - intimidating for anyone looking to get into the sport. Whether you're first starting out, continuing your BJJ journey, or looking to get your kids involved in a martial art look no further. Vagabond is the premier martial arts school in the Permian Basin.

Coach Caleb is excellent with my sensitive 5 year old daughter. He knows how to get her to focus on a task and make it fun, so she stays interested the whole class. All of the kid’s coaches are great, and every employee I’ve spoken with has been very polite and helpful.

One of the best decisions I've made was to come train at Vagabond BJJ! I've always felt comfortable and right at home, surrounded by good people. Fast forward 3 years later and I still feel the same way with 40lbs less weight to carry around. The school is constantly improving and growing and it will only get better! Thank you Clay.

Anyone interested in getting fit mentally and physically should give Vagabond BJJ a try. The benefits are almost endless to what training at the academy will do for you.I have gained strength in many forms since my BJJ journey began. I can’t imagine getting such high level coaching anywhere else in West Texas. They are patient and will help each client to overcome individual struggles or learning abilities in every class. It’s very welcoming and fun in morning and evening classes.
