Planet Fitness

I started on a diet and exercise program last year and had never had a gym membership.Very pleased so far. The surroundings are nice, people seem friendly and the place is always clean.However, for me, the staff is the best part. I've experienced some back issues, and use the massage chair to help. The staff is always attentive to what I need, and several of them have given me ideas to help me feel better.No complainants here

I like this gym...Been member for a while. It Does have WiFi (notice one review says it doesnt). It is managed well and the equipment seems to be well serviced. It can get busy but has enough equipment to make it manageable during peak hours.

Nice,clean gym. Only down fall is that they don't have the stationary arc trainer. They just have the one where your whole body is constantly moving. Would be nice to switch it up between the two machines but like i said they only have one. Hopefully they can bring in the other machine soon.

It is an absolute pleasure to work out at this gym. The staff is very friendly and the gym is well managed.If you have any problems, the staff is always very attentive and willing to help out in any way possible.For the price, this gym simply can't be beat and I highly recommend both beginners and seasoned gym-goers!

I go to a local planet fitness in palm bay Florida there real nice there there use to have 3- 45 lbs weight plate on both sides of all machines including leg press now there's less then 2 plates and none on leg press in order to have a decent work out on leg press you have to take everyone else plates so no one can work out that's not right! please bring the plates back it am 55 year old male with triple bypass how strong can I be old guy.

Nice place but here is my problem. We wanted to cancel, my wife called them and sent my daughter down to cancel as she was the member. My daughter went to the counter to cancel and they punched it in the computer and told her it was cancelled. Then, 7 days later they charged my card again so when I called they told me"there is no cancellation on file" before I could even finish my sentence, almost like it was a practiced phrase. So I had to send my daughter back down there to get a signed confirmation that it is now cancelled. So they got me or an extra month not used. Dishonest practices. Avoid doing business with Planet Fitness Palm Bay.

I only go here when I come home to visit. It's not a bad gym, although I'm quite disappointed in the lack of free weight equipment hence the "good" review I am giving. But overall, it's not bad. Just if you're into weight training, you should probably check elsewhere. If you're just into cardio, then you need look no further.

I have been to several fitness centers over the past few years and none can compare to my experience at Planet Fitness. At Planet Fitness, you can exercise just about anyway you want as they have free-weights, machines, cardio equipment, stretching area, etc. They have the added plus of massage chairs (great for an injured back), and tanning booths. The best thing about this Planet Fitness is the amazing staff. Great people always happy to see you, and always happy to help. You can NOT find a better group of people anywhere. Excellent job Planet Fitness!

Cool gym, but... I had a question for the gal at the counter and she was too busy on the phone with what was clearly a personal call. Also, had a guy jump in front of me for a "Smith" machine, and he sat down and talked on his phone for 20 minutes. Nice. Finally, there are clearly not enough free weights. Another customer and I had, at one point, every single 45lb plate and a few 25's in use between the two of us. PS the question I had for the receptionist was "why is there no scale in this gym?" Take this knowing that I've only been here once.

I am very satisfied with every aspect of this gym. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner on my first week of joining. The staff members are pleasant and helpful. The Assistant Manager goes above and beyond to make sure your visit is a positive and productive experience.I was a bit apprehensive about all the weight equipment and one of the trainers personally took me to each machine and guided me on how to use.The member fees are very fair and actually am saving money switching to this gym.
