Planet Fitness

I've been a member of this PF for 12 years. After new management and renovations a few years ago the fitness center is worth every penny. There are plenty of cardio and weight training machines for all.

Great gym. Sanitized quite well. All the equipment you need plus massage chairs and tanning booths. Only downside is no pool or spa.

10/28/2019 feedbackPlanet Fitness (my club is in Palm Bay, FL) is the nicest, cleanest & well maintained gym I have ever belonged to! And the personal who run the club are simply the BEST! I have one very serious issue with my club, and I suspect many other Planet Fitness facilities ... I find it downright distressing that the Planet Fitness owners or Corporation do NOT require ANYone of the managers, trainers or employees, to be trained and certified inCPR, nor aware of the operation of the AED! One year ago on October 25, 2018, this very nearly cost me my life. It was another gym member, a phlebotomist who works for the OneBlood organization (they train ALL their employees), that saved my life, albeit, with his instructions, the assistance of a Planet Fitness assistant manager. I am also happy to report that in addition to a rigorous walking regimen, Planet Fitness, Palm Bay, particularly the trainer, August, that I have made a miraculous recovery and continue to consider your gym to be key to that comeback!Best regards, E. Summary provided at the top; full review provided below.SummaryPros:-Great price at $10/month for basic membership.-Trainers are friendly and helpful for all experience levels.-PLENTY of cardio equipment.Cons:-Need just a few more weight training machines.Full ReviewThis is the first gym I have ever been a member of.With that said, I think the gym offers a lot for a mer $10/month for a basic membership.I usually go to this gym in the evening.Trainers can work with members to create a custom workout routine based on your goals and schedule.Regarding equipment, there are PLENTY of cardio machines and a HUGE variety of them including, but not limited to, bikes, treadmills, ellipticals, and stair-masters.There are free weight setups, although I have not used them.There is also quite a variety of weight-machines for a variety of weight based workouts to focus on different areas of the body.The only issue I have is that there are only 1-2 of a few of the weight-machines.This is usually not an issue, since I can shift my workout routine around until the machines are free.However, on a few occasions, the machines are occupied by 3+ members rotating use; this has delayed my workout completion by 15+ minutes before.

Great gym. The machines were updated last year, and the staff keeps it very clean. It can get a bit busy at times, but people are pretty respectful and keep to themselves.

I like the 30 minute circuit. That's why I join so I can do it before work. I wasn't able to complete it this morning because strength trainers tied up a couple of machines. I dropped my last membership because of that but I'm stuck until next December. I wish they could enforce the rules without asking members to snitch on other members. That's what happened this morning. It didn't go too well. I had some suggestions that management could try that would actually allow strength trainers to use circuit equipment. No interest.

Transferred my membership to this location over a year ago, the gym has yet to update my information in the system. I was never notified that the gyms closed, or when they opened back up if they are open. According to their website, and the entire time during this State of Emergency, I have been getting charged for a gym that I can't use. I now have to find a way to get my money back and close my account.

I enjoy Planet Fitness because of the friendly atmosphere and it is always very clean. Even when it is busy, there is no issue getting on the machine of my choice and getting the workout I want. Everyone is also very diligent on cleaning off the machines after use. I have never tried the tanning, but the massage chairs are a God-sent after a workout.

It’s 24 hours. The workers are very friendly and everyone is courteous of cleaning the equipment before and after every use. The only thing that throws me off is the bathrooms tend to have a weird smell, but of course it’s a gym’s bathroom, so why wouldn’t it? lol overall a great facility and glad I joined

Not many take the time to say the good things they always complain with that said i want to write about the good things... Nick and staff at this planet are incredible. They are always warm and welcoming when i come in and always want to what is right for the customer. I can train at any gym (there is so many to choice from) but i come here because of the friendly atmosphere and super clean equipment. If your in palm bay and need to find a good deal quick gym this is the place to pick!!!! 5 stars. Ask for NICK!@@@!!!!
