I wish I could give zero starsIrresponsible children run this place.They wouldn’t allow me to cancel my membership even after providing medical paper work that I needed hip surgery from my doctor.Make sure each change and request you make to freeze alter or cancel your account is documented.

Staff does not even greet guests as they enter. Some equipment is either falling apart or not being fixed. When this gym first opened it was great.

The morning staff is friendly, and the facility is clean but that’s about it. The place has no energy and is over priced for what they offer. The fact that they charge an additional $10 a month to tan is a joke.

I really like the gym. It's a good atmosphere. I like that on the treadmills you can look out the window while you're exercising. They keep the bathrooms clean everyone is courteous, and I would recommend the gym to anyone. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the music is way too loud.

The only thing nice about this place is the staff. The gym equipment isn't maintained/clean or even working in some cases. The locker room also seems to be a breeding ground for bacteria if you are looking to take a shower. Doesn't seem to be cleaned well or often

I live close and so have been a member for a long time. However, after more than 4 times over a period of 6 months of asking them to fix two issues with the machines that is potentially dangerous was neglected, I decided to cancel my membership. The upkeep is bad, nearly everything in the bathrooms is broken, and there's tears into foam on many of the machines. I asked to cancel my membership today since I'm very displeased with the upkeep and neglect of issues with the machines, the response was that my payment for the following month went through yesterday and they cannot refund me. I explained to them that they are not addressing concerns which they promised to address and so I would like a refund for the $20+ payment that went through yesterday, their response was "You signed a contract". This is literally the first time I have ever written a bad review on any business ever, but that is how HIGHLY dissatisfied I am. Choose another gym on Hamburg Turnpike is my recommendation.

I love this gym, been a member since 2008. It's right down the road from work so it's easy to get a workout in before I go into work. Machines are good, pretty much anything you need. Sometimes my favorite machines are not working properly (need to be greased) but it's all good, I still get my workout in. I love this place because of the set up, I love the open floor plan, it's super convinient, shakes are good, staff are nice, people are nice. I got no issues with this gym.

Awesome class and clean facilty! This is my first time here in the spinning class with instructor Rania and I am loving it! I love the class and Rania is full of energy! The facility is filled with cardio equipment and weights! I came in the morning at 8 am and there were a decent amount of people. I would definitely go here again for another spinning class!

Retro fitness is a great gym! People are friendly, lots of machines, and a great atmosphere. This isn't the biggest location but has everything I need!

The actual experience was ok however THEIR BILL HANDLING IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I canceled my membership and was told I couldnt back in 2009...I spoke with the manager informing them I moved. Ok everything shouldve been cancelled. I just found out i was sent to collections. When I spoke with kaitlyn she didnt seem to interested in solving the issue. she attempted to help but could not. No one tried to help fix the issue. I spoke with their collection agency and they charged me a fee plus 3 months of membership. I have been in different gyms I've never had an issue with cancellations or any billing issues not being resolved. Im amazed at how this issue was handled. Members should be able to cancel especially when they move from the area.
