Life Time gym in Friendswood, TX, stands out with its extensive amenities, professional staff, and cleanliness. The gym offers state-of-the-art equipment, various classes, and multiple amenities including steam rooms, saunas, and a well-maintained outdoor swimming area. Lifetime is a great gym. It’s expensive but you can make it worth while if you go to all the classes! I cancelled because I stopped going as much as I used to but I would definitely renew my membership when I’m ready to work out again.

Update: 5/9/2023....I made 4 phone calls to corporate office and never heard back.....shows you how much they care about their customers. My passenger door had to be replaced due to the damage to frame, resulting in more than 3,000 in damages......but still no video footage has been provided.I've been a member for only 3 months and my kids and I have really enjoyed the gym. On 3/28 my vehicle was hit in the parking lot leaving me with over 2,000 in damages. There is alleged camera footage that the GM (George Breissinger) has failed to provide. This is poor business practice. Sadly I will be canceling membership.

It seems that this location’s management and district management aren’t concerned with the member experience once they have someone enrolled. That’s disappointing

This is a very nice upscale gym, it has everything you need in one place! The price is very well worth it.

This facility has had a cup thief as a member or an employee since January 2023. When I was here in January a girl friend's drinking cup was stolen from the girls lockeroom and this past week 03/30/23 another girl friend of mine had her run of the mill water jug stolen from the same girls lockeroom. It's not as I expect cameras in lockerooms but be aware there are thieves going to this gym.

It’s impossible to workout 4-7 unless you want wait three million years for a squat rack because they have an “ alpha class” that doesn’t even use the squat racks the entire time reserves half the racks. The alpha class seriously needs to move times or find it’s own room because it’s extremely inconvenient to people who don’t sign up and go during busy hours. The guest pass system is really annoying aswell, i can only bring two different people in every 2 months. The gym itself is great but until these change, 3 stars

Probably one of the best gyms I've been to in Houston. Gym is packed M-F after "normal working hours" so if you show up from 4-7, it'll be busy as hell. They must have 200+ cardio equipment, so no need to worry about waiting for one of these ever, even at their busiest. Clean equipment, clean weights, mostly clean restrooms/locker rooms. They have pools (in and out), tennis courts, basketball courts. It's a luxurious feeling gym and its on the $$$$$ side. That being said I'd recommend it! Eucalyptus steam room, dry sauna and clean showers w/ clean towels make it a 8.5/10 for me.

They have the best front desk staff I ever seen at a gym. They build rapport with customers and they encourage on your weight loss journey. They are friendly and they are helpful with a smile. All the employees there are friendly. The aquatics team is the best too. They always check on you when you are in the water area. They greet you eventhough they are not in the front. A wonderful team at lifetime fitness baybrook.
